Having abandoned samsara, one will not realize nirvana. Likewise, all unions, not separated from the side of samsara, not possessing the side of nirvana, essence is one, but aspects are different, union without the fault of contradiction. Not separated from the side of skillful means, not possessing the side of wisdom, essence is one, but aspects are different, union without the fault of contradiction. Not separated from the side of conventional truth, not possessing the side of ultimate truth, essence is one, but aspects are different, union without the fault of contradiction. Likewise, all dualistic appearances, essence inseparable is union. Thus, that essence of union, is not like emptiness where two become one, is not like one divided into two, is not like one alternating with another, is not like one side existing and the other not, is not like appearance and emptiness mixed together, from the aspect of appearance, it exists elsewhere, from the aspect of emptiness, it does not exist elsewhere, this knowledge transcends the realm of expression, it is called the ultimate union. Also, in the second chapter of investigation, it says, discriminating thoughts, wisdom with form, and the two kinds of various discriminations of samsara, there is not even a slight difference. Thus it is said. Also, in that very text it says, conventional and ultimate nature, increase greatly in enlightenment. Thus it is said. The teacher Brahmin said, whoever knows the union of the two, does not abide in samsara nor abide in nirvana. Thus it is said. Also, the state of the non-dual great seal. Thus it is said. Also, in the Perfection of Wisdom it says, all phenomena are non-dual, not to be made into two, neither different nor the same. Thus it is said. Also, in the Heart Sutra it says, form is emptiness. Emptiness is form. Form is not other than emptiness. Emptiness is not other than form. Thus it is said. It is the union of abiding in the view of reality. The stages of the path of practice are: The yogi who has received the vase empowerment, meditates on the generation and completion stages as inseparable, the experience of the union of appearance and emptiness arises. The yogi who has received the secret empowerment, meditates on the winds and clear light as inseparable, the experience of the union of clarity and emptiness arises. The yogi who has received the third empowerment, meditates on the path of skillful means and wisdom in equal measure, the experience of the union of bliss and emptiness arises. The one who has received the fourth, word empowerment, emptiness and compassion

Meditate in non-duality, and the experience of the union of awareness and emptiness will arise. Among the three aspects of mind—essence, nature, and characteristic—the characteristic is the variety of appearances, which are empty. The essence is clear, hence clear emptiness. The nature is emptiness, hence awareness emptiness. Non-dual bliss and emptiness are the union. By experiencing the union, dualistic grasping is naturally liberated. Unite without hope or fear. Unite without negation or affirmation. Unite without object and awareness. Unite without pleasure and pain. Unite without self and other. Separate from the extremes of hope and fear. There is no negation or affirmation. Separate from the dualistic grasping of object, awareness, pleasure, and pain. Thus, from the illusion of great bliss, the yogi, the Bhagavan, is neither empty nor not empty. Union is great bliss, clear in the Perfection of Wisdom. Thus it is said. This is the order of uniting the paths. The order of the arising of the fruit is that through the manifestation of view and meditation, the union of the fruit is the Dharmakaya, free from elaboration, and the Rupakaya, blazing with marks and signs. The essence is one, but the manner is different. It is non-dual union. Knowing all that is to be known and realizing the nature of reality as it is, are united without separation or combination. Wisdom does not harm the sphere, and the sphere pervades wisdom. It is union without the fault of contradiction. Self-appearance, free from the eight extremes, and other-appearance, spontaneously accomplished, are the union of spontaneous accomplishment, the great union, without difference between the phenomenal and the noumenal. It is also said in the Second Chapter of Investigation: "From me all beings arise. I pervade all this. I have not seen the nature of beings as other than myself." Thus it is said. Again, without conceptualization, one clearly knows everything. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of the Ocean of Action, it is said: "Even by relying on what has elaboration, what is without elaboration is greatly born. The marks and signs of the Rupakaya and the Dharmakaya are united." Thus it is said. In the Vase Scripture, it is also said: "Compassion does not abide in Nirvana, and wisdom does not abide in Samsara. Having abandoned the two extremes, one unites in the Dharmakaya." Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Seeing the Utterly Secret, it is also said: "Having completely abandoned the view of things as real, knowing how to practice as an illusion, the mantra practitioner unites like a wish-fulfilling jewel, benefiting beings.
