There are three actions. For example, like Lama Minyak. When Lama Minyak heard the name of Lord Phagmo Drupa, he had the thought of going to his feet. That night, his body became hot, and Samadhi arose involuntarily. Thinking it was a ghost, he prayed to the gods and exorcised the ghosts at night. A female patron asked: What happened? He replied: Such a thing happened. The female patron said: Don't you want to go to Phagmo Drupa? If you want to go there, it is because of the blessings of that Lama. Only then did he understand it as a blessing, so he went to the feet of the venerable and stayed there. Later, he became the realized Minyak Gomring. Finally, he received the initiation of guidance, and when he meditated, his mind settled. Based on this, arouse whichever of the three poisons of affliction is the greatest. After it arises, that Lama had him meditate on its nature, free from elaboration. In this way, one will be liberated from it. For each of these three poisons, it is said, "Desire, luminosity, great bliss, union." Attachment is attachment to external enjoyment. Having fields and houses, etc., contradicts the precepts, just like the son of Kalandaka, the good almsgiver, breaking his vows for the sake of his lineage. Therefore, one should abandon the connection of the three: fields, thoughts, and things. Anger is the nine stages of torment. Merely wanting it is like a dog meeting head-on at an unseen crossroads. Therefore, by leaving it in its place, it will naturally be liberated. "Anger, luminosity, unborn, union." Ignorance is the conceptual thought of clinging to "I" and "mine." That conceptual thought itself is non-conceptual, free from the eight extremes. Since it is inseparable from this. Therefore, it is also said: "In this, there is nothing to be removed, nor is there anything to be established. In suchness, see suchness. Having seen suchness, one is liberated." Therefore, one should meditate on emptiness, which is free from the eight extremes of interdependence. To prolong this state, one should abandon all adverse conditions and accomplish favorable conditions, so that Samadhi will be perfected. Also, the Lord of the World, Rinpoche, said: All of you, in times of suffering, resentment, and hatred, remember the Three Jewels.

One should remember. Remembering it, all suffering is overcome, and one's own courage is boosted, generating the power of effort and diligence. Immeasurable superior qualities also arise in the continuum. For example, when the gods and the non-gods are at war, when the gods are fighting, when the non-gods are strong and powerful, when the gods feel discouraged, tired, and weary, the king of the gods says to the gods: You should remember my supreme banner—the Good Dharma Celestial Palace. After the gods remember the Good Dharma Celestial Palace, the gods regain their spirits, overcome suffering, and gain physical strength. If remembering Indra, who has desire, hatred, and ignorance, is like that, then what need is there to mention remembering the Buddha, the Bhagavan, who has abandoned all afflictions? Therefore, why not remember the Three Jewels? So, what is the first thing to remember about the Buddha? Don't you all have your own yidam deities? Therefore, meditate on yourself as the wrathful king, Achala, and then remember him with praise: The supreme body that arises from the realm of compassion, from the center of the burning flames of wisdom, resides on a seat of various lotuses and the sun, with two legs extended and bent, suppressing countless great obstacles. Thus, remember with praise. Or meditate on Lord Great Compassionate One, and then remember "Avalokiteśvara, the compassionate one," etc., the special qualities of his body, the form of his face and hands. If I, an insect, am asked what is the reason you have become proficient in rituals, I would think it is because I can recite the remembrance of the Buddha once. If they say we also know, then, remembering self, others, and the basis is: Brahmacharya is good in the beginning, good in the middle, good in the end, and so on. That is to say, following the offering of five and a half beans of bodhicitta, the king, I, surpassed the four great continents, the seven golden mountains, the four great kings, and half the seat of the king of the gods in the realm of the Thirty-Three. Able to live for the time of one hundred and fourteen Indras, enjoying all perfections.
