is the precious and profound essence. Whoever truly sees this, sees the supreme wisdom of the Buddha himself. Thus it is said. Among these, the dependent origination from the twelve links to the one link, it does not come from the right, nor does it come from the left, nor does it reside inside or outside, but arises according to its conditions. This is what is called dependent origination and emptiness. This condition also arises like a momentary thought. If you ask what kind of example this is, it is like the story of the white dog and the conch shell. Like the three thoughts of the Brahmin boy, the Tathagata prophesied as three, also like a momentary thought, arising according to the dependent origination. This is the dependent origination that is free from the eight extremes of elaboration, and arises as the dependent origination of cause and effect. If you ask what this is, it is this present mind of your own. This mind is unborn from the beginning, and abides in the nature of emptiness spontaneously accomplished. At the time of realizing this, the ocean of suffering of samsara is cut off from the root. If a doubt arises as to whether this is empty or not empty, it has already rendered samsara powerless. To doubt this is extremely difficult. Once doubt arises, existence is destroyed. Thus it is said. What need is there to say that realization has cut off the ocean of suffering of samsara? Therefore, the Dharma spoken by the perfectly enlightened Buddha is inconceivable. The characteristic of the Dharma Jewel is, as spoken by the Bhagavan Unvanquished: That which is neither non-existent nor existent, neither existent nor non-existent, nor other than existent and non-existent, cannot be conceived, is free from definition, is self-realized and peaceful, is immaculate wisdom, radiant with light, is without attachment to all objects, and destroys hatred and darkness, I prostrate to that Dharma Sun. Thus it is said. Whoever practices this Dharma, all the happiness of samsara and nirvana will arise. The nirvana of the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas also arise from this Dharma. Furthermore, the happiness of samsara

All happiness comes from the Dharma. Therefore, writing and reading the Dharma treasury of scriptures, etc., is inconceivable. After writing, one should also offer the Dharma. Storing the Dharma treasury of scriptures in boxes, or engaging in buying and selling, etc., the faults are inconceivable. Because this will simultaneously cut off all the happiness of samsara and nirvana. It is said that this is more serious than putting the ten non-virtuous deeds and the five heinous crimes together. Who could do such a thing? The Dharma is considered an object of respect, service, and veneration as a guru. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also regard the Dharma as their guru, let alone other beings in the world, including gods? When teaching the Prajnaparamita, the Bhagavat himself laid out the lion throne, which was also to honor the mother who gave birth to the Tathagata. If the mother is old and has many sons, all the sons will be unhappy and will serve her. Similarly, the Buddhas of the ten directions also think of the supreme wisdom that is the mother. Thus it is said. Therefore, apart from serving the Dharma treasury, how can one engage in buying and selling or raising prices? The value of the Dharma is inconceivable. As it is said in the Maitreya Question Sutra: If someone fills worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges with jewels and offers them to the king with joy, it is better than someone who gives sentient beings just one verse. Such a vast offering of jewels is not as good as giving one verse with compassion. Even an offering of jewels as numerous as the sands of the Ganges cannot compare, let alone two or three times the offering? Thus it is said. What is the meaning of sands as numerous as the Ganges? Take one grain of sand from the Ganges River and place it in the Sahā world. Similarly, place one grain of sand in each Buddha land, such as Sukhavati and Abhirati, until all the sands of the Ganges are used up. Filling worlds as numerous as those grains of sand with various jewels up to the Akanistha heaven and offering them to the Buddha is not as good as a
