All the auspiciousness, happiness, and excellence of this support, the complete abundance will arise, in the middle, the goodness, the splendor of gods and humans will be obtained, and in the end, the supreme goodness, the perfect and complete enlightenment will be manifestly attained. Thus, the beginning, the middle, and the end are good. The Buddhas of the past have spoken, the Buddhas of the future will also speak, and the perfect Buddhas who appear now also repeatedly speak, and should be practiced. Because the initial goodness is proclaimed, the middle and the end are also good. Just as the left side corresponds to the right side, the initial non-virtue, the middle and the end are also non-virtuous. If one commits non-virtuous deeds, then the mind of the three afflictions, and the karma, and the three fully ripened fruits of karma are non-virtuous. That is: desire, hatred, and ignorance, the karma generated by these is non-virtuous. Thus it is said. Then what is desire? There are two types of desire: attachment to external objects and attachment to inner sentient beings. Attachment to external objects is attachment to fields and houses. The karma that follows the mind of attachment is protecting one's own side, and harming other sides, etc., using various destructive means to defeat the enemy. The fully ripened fruit of this karma is falling into the three lower realms. Therefore, people should not do this. At the time of one's death, leaving behind all the perfections of this world, such as fields, the karma of attachment and aversion accumulated towards these aspects will follow oneself. If one sincerely practices Dharma, one must abandon attachment to external objects. First, one must abandon one's own homeland. When the Tathagata, the lord of the ten bhumis, was dwelling, he abandoned his homeland, and until he had not attained the Buddhahood of all-knowing wisdom, he did not return to the city of Kapilavastu, and showed the act of retreat, and did not return for six years after becoming Buddha. Therefore, what need is there to say that others need to abandon it? If someone thinks that my homeland is very prosperous, or thinks that even if I abandon it, it will not be of any use, these thoughts are of no benefit. When one abandons that homeland without attachment, the separation from that place...

The fruit and the ripened fruit are more pleasant than that place. It is difficult to abandon attachment and hatred for one's homeland without leaving it. One's homeland burns like red-hot iron, like a forest of swords filled with harm. In the rotten, unclean mire of profit and fame, if people like Yama become leaders, it is very bad, so those who have love for themselves, go to the forest! If someone asks, what is the use of attachment to one's homeland? The supreme master said: What kind of buttocks is the place of death like? What attachment is there to one's homeland? If it is said that one must die in that place, that is not certain. Attachment to inner sentient beings is attachment to horses, cattle, men, women, and so on. Following that attachment, the actions of body, speech, and mind manifest, therefore, in the cycle of the three realms, one revolves endlessly in the sea of suffering. For the sake of insignificant attachment, do not engage in much attachment and hatred such as killing enemies and protecting relatives. Abandoning attachment to external objects and inner sentient beings, the mind without attachment is the Dharmakaya of the perfectly enlightened Buddha. According to this lineage, the mind without attachment is called the self-arisen co-emergent wisdom Mahamudra. The sentient being without attachment, and the manifestation of the actions of body, speech, and mind distinguished by that mind, and the ripened result of that action, are virtuous in the three times. The mind of affliction, anger, and the manifestation of the actions of body, speech, and mind distinguished by that mind, therefore, one revolves in the cycle of the three lower realms and so on. The mind of affliction, ignorance, and the manifestation of the actions distinguished by that mind, and the ripened result of that action, one revolves in the cycle of the three lower realms and so on. The three minds of affliction, and the action of that mind, and the ripened result of the action, these three are unwholesome in the initial, middle, and final stages. The initial unwholesomeness is that all the inauspicious, diseases, harms, sins, and disharmonious aspects of this world come. The middle unwholesomeness is falling into the three lower realms. The final unwholesomeness is the three lower realms.
