This is the earth. There is no coming and going up and down. The ultimate Bodhicitta is the emptiness, in which all phenomena encompassed by samsara and nirvana are unborn from the very beginning. This was not created by a clever Buddha, nor was it fabricated by foolish sentient beings, but is the nature or natural state of things. The conventional Bodhicitta mentioned above, or the nature or state of all things such as the six perfections, is it. Practicing these two without distinction is the Dharma of the perfectly enlightened Buddha. In short, since none of us know whether tomorrow or death will come first, we must practice the Dharma. A part of that is rebirth. If you think that because you have wealth you don't have time to practice the Dharma, then our perfectly enlightened teacher, the Buddha who possesses great compassion, renounced the four continents and the heavenly realms to become a renunciate. At that time, when he asked his father for permission to renounce, his father said to enjoy the five desirable qualities and stay in this palace. When his father said that, I asked for one supreme thing. He said he would give me whatever I wanted, and when I asked for the supreme thing of being without old age, sickness, and death, he said that this supreme thing could not be given. Aging, sickness, and death will occur, and if these three did not exist, I too would enjoy the most delightful places. Having said that, he renounced in front of the pure stupa. He took off the white clothes with the golden swan patterns, etc., and took the servant girl's shroud, turned it inside out, and wore it. What need do we have for the wealth and respect of this insatiable world? As the master Shantideva said: The world despises those without gain, those who have gain are reviled, it is difficult to get along with such beings by nature, when will I be able to please them? Therefore, generating attachment and hatred towards worldly fame, praise, and blame, etc., is not the activity of practitioners. If others praise me, what effect does blame have on me? If others blame me, what effect does praise have on me? What is the need to be attached to parents and relatives? There is no sentient being who has not been our mother. Moreover, the pile of bones of each individual is as much as Mount Meru.

The time of death has passed. The end of the mother, like a small juniper tree. Even if counted into pills, the earth cannot contain them. Thus it is said. Therefore, in this way, to abandon the suffering ocean of samsara in the three realms of oneself and others, there is no other way to abandon it except for the sacred Dharma. Therefore, be diligent in the two aspects of Bodhicitta. Please strive to practice great diligence, that is the Dharma. Furthermore, the precious Lama said: The teachings of the perfectly enlightened Buddha cannot be found by aiming outwards. One must seek inwards in one's own mind. For example, the wish-fulfilling jewel, the king of power, is taken out of the mud, wiped clean with three cloths, and placed on the top of the victory banner, then all desires will be fulfilled. Even if one wants to rain down various weapons, it will happen. But this will destroy both oneself and others. Similarly, this mind, due to wrongly clinging to the self, is defiled by the afflictions distinguished by clinging to the self, resulting in the three lower realms, thus experiencing various sufferings. If one clings to the four immeasurables such as loving-kindness, then one will arise from the gods of the four great kings to the realm of Brahma, and experience happiness. If one clings to conventional Bodhicitta, then one will become a Bodhisattva, and in countless worlds and countless Buddha lands, one will show countless inconceivable deaths and rebirths, so that all sentient beings will have happiness, be free from suffering, and ultimately be placed in unsurpassed Bodhi. All these are not external, but the mind. Therefore, in this way, one should settle one's mind on whatever one desires. The clinging to Bodhicitta should not be pursued too much, because the way of clinging will show various afflictions. Not clinging to self and what belongs to self, one can be purified. Thus it is said. If it is said like this, in order to abandon samsara and attain liberation, one must realize this emptiness, the unoriginated mind from the beginning. At the time of realizing this emptiness, one has already abandoned samsara. The mind that has not arisen from the beginning is the Dharmakaya. The unoriginated has no cessation, it is the Sambhogakaya. The unoriginated
