Anger and the mind of ignorance, as well as karma, bless the body and mind, and revolve in samsara such as hell and animals. The imprints of love and compassion, such as a mother's love for her child or a child's love for its mother, and the compassion that even crows and wolves generate, these compassionate minds arise when they encounter the object or condition that gives rise to love and compassion. Furthermore, a virtuous and qualified lama who abides in love teaches the instructions of love and guides. Practicing like the three aspects of love—approach, accomplishment, activity—effortlessly eliminates harm to oneself and others and accomplishes happiness. For example, like the three hermits of the Chandalas, Pūrṇa, or like the great son of Maudgalyāyana. Such a person is called an accomplished one of love. To abandon the latent and manifest afflictions, the lama teaches the instructions to not generate what has not arisen and to abandon what has arisen. The lama must also be one who abides in a state of non-attachment, without hatred, and without delusion. As the Samādhirāja Sutra says, "Whatever one abides in, that is what one proclaims." This means that the only one who abides in the samādhi free from the three poisons is the supreme Rinpoche. The stages of guidance and profound instructions of the supreme Rinpoche are also the stages of practice for taming the mind-stream by abandoning the manifest and latent aspects of the three or five poisons. The place for practice is a solitary and secluded mountain retreat. Practicing in a secluded place, because there is no cause for the arising of afflictions, they do not arise. By practicing according to the stages of practice for abandoning the manifest and latent, one abandons all the manifest and latent afflictions and becomes a Dharma for attaining complete enlightenment. To practice such a Dharma, it is important to have complete intention and action, because the Dharma perfects the intention. Therefore, it is very important that the intention is the mind of enlightenment and the action is distinguished by that mind. These Tathāgatas, along with Śāriputra and Maudgalyāyana's two sons, these three great-eyed Tathāgatas, when they appeared in the world, became three children, each offering a handful of sand and making their own aspirations, thereby accumulating merit for countless eons, and also practicing together.

The difference between becoming a Buddha and becoming a Shravaka lies in the intention. Therefore, intention should not be underestimated. Whatever aspiration Bodhisattvas generate will be accomplished. Diligent effort is crucial. Compared to this Tathagata, Maitreya Bodhisattva generated the intention forty kalpas earlier. However, this Tathagata, through diligence like a skilled helmsman, a steadfast vow like a lion king, and the perfection of intention and effort, attained Buddhahood first. If one understands and practices such Dharma, this alone is sufficient for accomplishment, so please strive in Dharma practice. Furthermore, the precious Lama said that this Tathagata generated Bodhicitta, accumulated merit, and from Buddhahood to turning the three wheels of Dharma, it is not that there are many different meanings being taught. It can be summarized into the wheel of Dharma that teaches profundity and the wheel of Dharma that teaches vastness. Among them, the profound Dharma is liberation from the extremes of superimposition and denigration. What is profound? The mind is unborn from the beginning, emptiness is the basis. Empty and still, quiet. Not created by a clever Buddha, nor modified by foolish beings, this is its nature or state. This mind is empty of desire, empty of the arising and pervasive surge of desire; it is also empty of hatred, even merely clinging to what is unreasonable and unpleasant is hatred. Great hatred is nine levels of torment. It mainly exists in fearlessness, because it leads to the formation of hell. This hatred must be abandoned. This mind is empty of hatred. This mind is empty of ignorance, ignorance being clinging to non-Dharma as Dharma, and so on. This mind is empty of all clinging to ignorance. Furthermore, the moment of realizing this mind, which is empty of all afflictions and conceptual thoughts, is the moment of abandoning Samsara. Just as even a thousand years of darkness can be dispelled by a newly lit lamp. Similarly, even the deep-seated habits of Samsara can be dispelled in a single moment of realizing one's own mind. Thus it is said. Furthermore, when not realized, it is ignorance, the root of karma and afflictions. When realized, it is self-aware wisdom.
