The reason why the field of beings can be purified is also that the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas embrace sentient beings with love and compassion. If they are offered to, they know and repay kindness, so their merit is great. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas embrace sentient beings with the mind of enlightenment, and benefit and happiness also arise from their kindness, so that is also the reason for the purity of the field. If killing or harming is done to the pure fields, the reason why the sin is great and leads to the uninterrupted realm is that they do not know or repay kindness. If one does not know the kindness of those who have helped and been kind, various kinds of ruin will manifestly occur. For example, when the deer king Rurupa was born as a great monkey, a bodhisattva, he was punished for not remembering the kindness of others, or like Devadatta losing his miraculous powers because he did not know the kindness of the Buddha. Therefore, knowing and repaying kindness is the root of all the teachings of the Buddha Bhagavan, so all goodness, auspiciousness, and well-being arise in the beginning, middle, and end. It is also said that: He who knows and repays kindness, and does not let kindness be wasted, is happy wherever he dwells. The glorious protector dwells near him. It is important to listen to what those who are kind and helpful to you say and to remember it. Here, even though I, Abu, sometimes seem to be angry with you monks or patrons, deep down I am happy when you are well, so benefit and happiness arise from it, and even anger does not cause great harm in the end. Therefore, I too must fulfill the words of the patrons and offerings, from which benefit and happiness arise. In general, all happiness and well-being arise from fulfilling the words of the lama. It is also said that: Whatever Bodhisattva acts in accordance with the teachings, keeps mindfulness close, and does not break the words of the lama, therefore, all his purposes will be accomplished harmoniously, and he will quickly attain enlightenment in the presence of the harmonious Buddha's wisdom and enlightenment. One must fulfill the words of the lama, even if they seem unreasonable. For example, the master Naropa practiced twelve hardships, which was also because he fulfilled the words of Tilopa, although it did not seem reasonable at the time.

I have practiced. If someone thinks, "I can practice the instructions of a guru like Tilopa, but I cannot practice the instructions of other gurus," if that is a bad guru, even if you don't practice his instructions, you won't meet a good guru later and practice the instructions. This is cause and effect, because the lives of the gurus are one. The benefit and happiness that arise from practicing the guru's instructions also arise from the guru's kindness, knowing this and repaying the kindness. If you break the guru's instructions, great faults arise, also because of not knowing kindness and not repaying kindness. If you break the guru's instructions, great faults arise, also because of not knowing kindness and not repaying kindness. It is very important to repay the kindness of those who have been kind and helpful, such as gurus and friends. All temporary and ultimate happiness arises from knowing kindness and repaying kindness, so please practice in this way, this is Dharma. Furthermore, the precious guru said: Whatever Dharma the perfectly enlightened Bhagavan Buddha taught, its subject matter is dependent origination. It is said like this: This dependent origination is the path of the Victorious Ones, The precious and profound meaning of the treasury of speech, Whoever truly sees this principle, That one sees the Buddha's supreme wisdom. And it is said that whoever sees dependent origination sees the Three Jewels. Apart from dependent origination, there is no other Dharma. So, if that is the case, what is dependent origination? It is wanting both cause and condition. If you don't want the cause, there can be no dependent origination. If you don't want the condition, there can be no dependent origination either. Among them, in terms of ultimate truth, the naturally pure nature of mind, which is the proximate cause, is unborn from the beginning, not created by the Buddha, nor transformed by sentient beings, that nature or state exists in all sentient beings. The condition that acts together is the supreme guru who possesses the characteristics. The gathering of cause and condition is called dependent origination. So, that nature is not born from cause, nor destroyed by condition, can that become dependent origination? It is the basis of dependent origination, for example, space is not born from cause, nor destroyed by condition, but it is a vessel
