Without distinguishing between birds and relatives, all are realized as the unborn Mahamudra. Furthermore, by realizing that desire is unborn, desire becomes the gateway to Dharma. Similarly, all conceptual thoughts such as hatred and delusion are realized as the unborn Mahamudra, and all enter the gateway to Dharma. Yogis, having gained mastery over dependent origination, can heal the sick even by transforming a single pebble or piece of wood, and restore sanity to the insane, being skilled in various methods. They are skilled in methods to make the unstable minds of themselves and others stable. If you ask what this dependent origination is, it is the dependent origination of cause and effect. It is not dependent origination such as divination with animal skins, wool, or grain, nor with arrows, vultures, or planting grain. Such dependent origination deceives oneself and others, and we great meditators also have it. Wisdom is shallow, and the ripening of karma is incomplete. We connect many things to dependent origination such as planting grain, or dreams, or trivial matters, and then explain them as clairvoyance and so on. What is the use of obtaining a little food or a few possessions through such means? It is better to cherish precious discipline. What is the use of clairvoyance and dependent origination without discipline? The Protector of the World considers keeping a pure fast more important than a hundred accomplished ones. Divination with animal skins, wool, and grain separately, or dependent origination such as planting grain, is not mentioned in the sutras and tantras. Where does such a thing suddenly come from? If it exists, it should appear in the sutras and tantras. Do not engage in such dependent origination that deceives others. At the moment of realizing oneness, the dependent origination that gains mastery over cause and effect is cause and effect. Therefore, all the Dharma spoken by the Tathagata is dependent origination. As it is said, 'This dependent origination is the Victorious One,' and 'Except for dependent origination,' and 'Seeing dependent origination is seeing the Three Jewels.' By showing dependent origination as one, permanence and annihilation are destroyed, because impermanence is dependent origination. Permanence and annihilation cannot be dependent origination. Showing dependent origination as two is cause and effect. Suffering arises from unwholesome causes.

Oṃ. Virtue brings happiness. They cannot be transformed into each other; virtue cannot be transformed into non-virtue, and non-virtue cannot be transformed into virtue. This is the great tenet. All dharmas must be understood from this basis. Although there are many disagreements about the captain skillfully killing the black man with a short spear, the thought of wanting to save an empty person from death with bodhicitta, the thought of wanting to save the black man from the lower realms, and the thought of wanting to kill him, do they have a connection? Do they not have a connection? Look. Also, looking outward at external objects, what can be found in the words? When looking inward through the reversal of karma, there is no connection between the two. Killing is not an act of bodhicitta; the results arise separately. Clinging to insignificant things is crude. Bodhicitta wants to transform afflictions into virtue, but bodhicitta is the antidote to destroy afflictions. How can afflictions be transformed into virtue? Afflictions are non-virtuous from beginning to end. The Tathagata's foot being pierced by a thorn, the insults of the wandering ascetics, the horse eating barley, washing the alms bowl as if something had fallen into it in the village, returning without finding alms, etc., are also the results of past bodhisattva practices. Does the Tathagata have suffering? Although there are many ideas, it is believed that there is no suffering. The dependent origination is explained in three ways: mind is the mental formation of thought. Formation arises from the accumulation of karma. The ripening of karma manifests as the self-nature of thought. The twelve links explain that from ignorance as the condition, formations arise, up to old age and death. These twelve links are also condensed into three
