Therefore, it needs to be translated into three languages. Furthermore, now it is explained as guarding and purifying that place, and if those two roots are explained as meaning giving, then guarding the three doors of objects such as form, purifying these three, and in order to accomplish another existence as desired, if these three are translated with such a root meaning, in order to make it clear, the scriptures always mostly praise Bodhisattvas with the beautiful name of giving, because the root of giving clearly shows impermanence, white virtuous Dharma, and being born into another existence, and these three are necessary for benefiting sentient beings, therefore it is praised. This is just a poetic explanation of the grammarians, but the intention of the Buddha is to proclaim the beautiful name of giving through ways such as 'giving can make suffering beings completely mature'. Abandoning inferior giving refers to actions in this life and the fruits in the next, and 'spogs' is benefit, which means increase. The existence of sin is not existence, which means being overwhelmed by virtue and like non-existence, and for such sin, there is no saying that it cannot benefit sentient beings, just like the weight of salt, which is explained in the sutra with the metaphor of it and water. Virtue is a great action, 'pachcha' after 'ang' refers to benefit, and harm refers to birth, old age, sickness, and death. Always abiding in samsara is like the Bodhisattva Manjushri from beginningless time. For those who have attained the first bhumi, etc., whenever they can autonomously be born by the power of their own mind, such people are called the masters of action and benefit, because Bodhisattvas will not be born for the sake of not benefiting sentient beings. 'Pu' refers to a special place to go, which is a special change of mind, such as being proficient in various sciences, arts, meditation, and formless samadhi, etc. The body becomes special due to habit, as the teacher Gewesar said: 'After the body obtains specialness, it is also possible to increase habit, just like a small Garuda bird cannot fly from one branch to another.' If one becomes very accustomed, one can cross to the other side of the ocean.' As it is said. In the commentary, comparing lineage and birthplace to ascending, and using the Chakravartin king and Mount Meru as examples is incorrect, because here it is to prove that one can become a Buddha through the habit of the mind, what use are those examples? It seems like this here, but there is no reason why it will not change like this elsewhere.

Those who have attained the power of inconceivable body, speech, and mind, such as the Buddhas, are definitely real, and even the non-Buddhists should understand not to slander them. That the Buddhas, etc., have already appeared or can appear in the direct perception of yogis can be seen in the 'Flower Ornament of the Seven Treatises.' The non-Buddhists refute the all-knowing one by stating, 'The all-knowing one is a person, because there is action and existence.' To this, Acharya Shantarakshita says in the 'Tattvasamgraha': 'The Dharmakaya and Nirmanakaya are not established as human for me. The Tathagata is also not established. Therefore, it is uncertain.' Regarding action, Acharya Kamalasila says: 'Omniscience and existence, there is no contradiction at all. Therefore, because of existence, one is not omniscient,' which shows that they do not understand wisdom. Therefore, foolish people act towards the profound Dharma, and those with weak faith do not believe in the wonderful Dharma of the Buddhas, because they have no merit in focusing on the Buddhas. These are the ways to combine the words. This is the explanation of the fifth chapter of 'Bodhicaryavatara'. Sixth Chapter: Showing the Means of Abandoning Afflictions When showing the means of abandoning the afflictions, the cause of samsara, it is said 'with ease,' why is that? Are they ascetics or not? This is to refute those naked ascetics and non-Buddhist sages who think that only suffering is asceticism, because they say: 'A person who is not tormented by suffering is not a person, not a person. Unless one is disgusted with samsara, the mind will not seek liberation.' In showing their actions, it is said 'desire,' just as the wind nourishes the other three elements, the action of ignorance, which does not understand the nature of the object and the subject, is to nourish the other two, because knowing their nature and faults will lead to separation from them. For example, the one who controls the waters is called a water demon, who has a young body, and nothing but fire can drive it away. Similarly, the three poisons cannot be abandoned by their respective three actions, but only by wisdom. In the praise, it is said: 'Great Sage, whatever you have said, has been perfectly accomplished. Afflictions can only be understood by wisdom, not by other actions.' That is what is said. The way that suffering arises from these three is because of not meeting with what is desired... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
