Moreover, liberation has two types: liberation with form and liberation without form. First, there are three types of liberation with form, the first being the liberation of viewing forms: The purpose is to be liberated from the obscurations that cannot be transformed or changed. The basis is to rely on any actual object of meditative concentration. The meaning of 'with form' is that the viewing yogi has not attained the formless mind, so they have not separated from the perception of form, or even if they have attained it, it is acceptable to abide in the awareness of form. The object is the forms that are the nature of appearance, and the aspect is viewing, that is, generating faith in whatever color one wishes to transform into, such as beauty or ugliness. The essence is 'truly attained,' and so on. The companions are 'with them,' and so on. The second is to perceive formlessness and view external forms, with other aspects being the same as the previous one. The meaning of 'without form' is that having attained the formless mind, the viewer is separated from the perception of form, or even if they have not attained it, it is acceptable to abide in the awareness of just the four formless aggregates. In the Treasury of Knowledge, it says: These two are the antidotes to attachment to colors in the desire realm and the first dhyana, respectively, relying on the minds of the first and second dhyanas, their aspect being of an unpleasant nature. As it is said: 'The first two of the eight liberations are in the two impure dhyanas.' The third is the liberation of beauty, the basis of which is the actual object of the fourth dhyana. The purpose is to be liberated from the obscurations of conflicting afflictions that arise from striving to transform beautiful forms and not striving to transform ugly forms. The object is to focus on the beautiful and ugly forms that one has faith in. The aspect is to rely on the awareness of beauty and ugliness being interdependent and one being connected to the other, ultimately attaining the awareness that everything is of one taste, thereby having faith that everything is of a beautiful form. Among these, the interdependent awareness is: relying on beauty to generate the thought of ugliness, and relying on ugliness to generate the thought of beauty. If they are not interdependent, they will not arise, because if they are seen as equal, the thought of beauty and ugliness will not arise. Interconnected.

The concept of is. Therefore, there is also the unpleasant in the pleasant, and the pleasant follows the unpleasant, and what is called pleasant is merely a designation. Because it is the nature of thirty-six impure substances such as hair. In this way, all forms are mixed together, and it should be believed that pleasantness itself is of one taste. Why enter into the liberation of form? Because even if the yogi has already become detached from the form he previously craved, he still has not obtained the freedom to believe in them, so in order to obtain it, he must believe in it again and again. The rest are the same as before. Secondly, for the formless liberation, the four such as the sphere of infinite space, etc., are those who are pure and in accordance with the uncontaminated liberation, and they obtain the name of liberation, because they can be liberated from tasting its taste. In the place of the yogi practitioner, the liberation of the sphere of infinite space is like this: he is detached from it and believes in space itself. The liberation of the sphere of infinite consciousness is also the same as this, he is detached from it and believes in it itself. The liberation of the sphere of nothingness is to obtain the sphere of nothingness and believe in the sphere of infinite consciousness. The liberation of the peak of existence is not to believe in others, but to believe until the concept of exhaustion arises. It is said. For the liberation of the cessation of perception and feeling, the necessity is to be liberated from the obstacles of the cessation of thought and feeling. Its nature is to rely on the liberation of the peak of existence, completely transcend the liberation of formless tranquility, thereby extinguishing the unstable minds and mental factors, and some of those stable ones, as previously stated. Because the noble ones dwell in these eight, these are called the eight liberations of the noble ones' dwelling. Among them, the noble ones dwell many times in two dwellings, namely the third and the eighth. They are in order because they have completely eliminated the obstacles to the liberation of form and formlessness, so they are the most excellent of liberations.
