The result of actions such as offering alms to the Sangha of monks, including those who are enlightened and the Sangha, or causing harm to the body and possessions, will be experienced immediately. The reasons for this are: first, it arises from the altruistic intention to benefit all sentient beings; second, it arises from abiding in protecting the minds of sentient beings; third, it arises from the supreme state of the perfectly peaceful noble ones; and fourth, it arises from obtaining the vows to abstain from all non-virtuous actions. The latter two are because they are the ultimate objects of merit. Alternatively, whatever field it may be, it should be initiated with firm resolve or extremely strong afflictions, thereby engaging in all virtuous or non-virtuous actions. Second, the characteristic of karma that is experienced after birth is that whatever action is committed, its result will ripen in the next life. An example is: In the Kriya Army it says, "Whoever kills an Arhat, parents, divides the harmonious Sangha, or with hatred towards the Tathagata, causes blood to flow from a person's body, all these extremely inexhaustible actions, the Victorious One has said are the five inexpiable sins." Therefore, this is the karma of the five inexpiable sins. These inexpiable sins only exist in males and females born in the three continents, and not in others. Because meat-eaters, eunuchs, and beings in the lower realms, even if their parents gave birth to them, their bodies are not suitable as a basis for understanding the Dharma, so the benefit is small. Moreover, these beings naturally have little shame and embarrassment, so even if they kill their parents, it will not become an inexpiable sin. Those with unpleasant voices do not possess sinful thoughts, and the gods of the desire realm have few sinful thoughts, so it does not occur. Even killing non-human parents will not become an inexpiable sin, because the circumstances are not equal, the recognition of parents is less, and they cannot provide that much help. Engaging in impure conduct with non-parents and then killing parents will not become an inexpiable sin, because the intention and action are inconsistent. The Tathagata possesses indestructible Dharma nature, so he cannot be killed. However, if one thinks they have killed him and strikes him, causing blood to flow, it will become an inexpiable sin; if there is no intention to kill, but the blood flows with the intention of beating, it will not become an inexpiable sin.

Even if killing with the perception of not being an Arhat, it will still occur because the basis is definitely grasped. If killing someone who is both a father and an Arhat, the substance of the action of immediate retribution is one, because one mind completes that action. However, the fruition is experienced as if two were done, because the immediate retribution of killing a father is far superior to other fields. Whether it is certain to be an Arhat or not, if killing with the perception of not being a father, it will become the immediate retribution of killing an Arhat, and the fruition will not be experienced as the immediate retribution of killing a father, because there is no intention to kill a father. If that is the case, even if killing an Arhat with the perception of not being one, it will not become an immediate retribution, wouldn't that be the same? No, because killing a father with the perception of being a father is not a complete branch of the path of killing, because the perception is reversed. An Arhat is not like that, although it is not certain whether it is an Arhat, the perception of the object to be killed is not confused, and it is a complete branch of killing, so it must be an immediate retribution. If the perception is confused because of the perception of not being an Arhat, then if that is the case, because the object to be killed is only considered a sentient being, then all killing will become a confusion of perception of the object. Therefore, not confusing the perception of the nature of the basis to be killed is the completion of the branch of the path of action. There are two types of Sangha division: the division of action and the division of the wheel counted as immediate retribution. The first is when the Sangha disagrees and splits into two factions when accomplishing any of the one hundred and one actions. The second is when, at the time when the Tathagata turns the wheel of Dharma, the Sangha of the same boundary follows two teachers. The first occurs in all places and times where the teachings exist. The second only exists in Jambudvipa, and it is said that it does not occur in six situations, as it is said: Initially, the fault of the edge is unique, the previous Sage's fault, and when the boundary is not cut, the wheel.
