Ma is the four foundations of Dharma. That is to say, with the two, non-attachment and non-hatred, one completely trains in the training of higher morality, in order to prevent the training from declining due to subsequent attachment and anger. With right mindfulness, one completely trains in the training of higher mind, because if one does not miss the object, one can make the mind dwell equally. With right concentration, one completely trains in the training of higher wisdom, because if the mind dwells equally, one can know things as they truly are. The path to attain qualities is the path of tranquility and insight, because from this, all worldly and transworldly qualities can be attained. The path that summarizes the path is the three faculties, that is, with the faculty of making the unknown known, one summarizes the path of preparation and the path of seeing. With the faculty of knowing, one summarizes the path of cultivation. With the faculty of complete knowledge, one summarizes the path of no more learning. In terms of detailed explanation, among the five, such as the aspects in harmony with enlightenment, first, the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment should be understood as being established in five ways, such as objects. Among these, the objects of the close mindfulness are the four, such as the body. Why are these established as objects? Because childish, inverted-minded people think of the body as the object of my dwelling place, feelings as the basis of my enjoyment, mind as my object, and Dharma as the object that is defiled by habits and purified by faith, etc. In order to prevent these inverted thoughts, it should be known that the four objects are established. The nature is the wisdom that follows the body, etc., and the mindfulness that does not forget the aspects of these objects. The companions are the dharmas that correspond to these two. There are two types of meditation: by means of the aspects of the object and by means of the method of meditating on the antidote. The first is briefly stated as the inner body, etc. There are also two types of detailed explanation. First, the method of meditation, in terms of the object, the inner body is the faculties such as the eyes, which are included in the inner sources and belong to the category of sentient beings.

The body refers to external forms, sounds, etc., because it is encompassed by external sense bases and does not belong to the category of sentient beings. The internal and external body refers to the external sense bases, such as forms, etc., related to the internal sense bases like the eyes, etc., which are the same as the faculties and aggregates, because it belongs to the category of sentient beings and is encompassed by external sense bases. Other internal form sense bases in one's own continuum are also the same, because it is external to the continuum and internal to the sense base. The aspect is to contemplate the body on the body, that is, in conceptual thought, to view the manifested images such as skeletons and special offerings, and the body of coarse nature, as the equality of impurity. Regarding the way to meditate on the latter three, the object of focus is that internal feelings, etc., arise dependent on the internal body, because they focus on the eyes, etc., and arise from their own place. External feelings, etc., arise dependent on the external body, because they focus on forms, etc., and arise from another's place. Internal and external feelings, etc., arise dependent on the internal and external body, because they focus on the external sense bases present in one's own continuum and the internal sense bases present in another's continuum. The aspect is stated as 'on the body,' etc., that is, to meditate that all feelings are suffering, the mind is impermanent, and all phenomena are without self. Secondly, the antidote meditation is, again, to meditate on mindfulness, which is to meditate possessing nine qualities such as desire, and not to pay attention to that means the mind does not desire the object. As an antidote to that, meditate on desire. Laziness is when the mind is not delighted in meditating on mindfulness, its antidote is diligence. Agitation and dullness are when the mind is not clear internally and scatters externally, its antidote is the effort to manifest those discordant aspects. Discouragement is when one feels inferior in achieving distinction and becomes disheartened, its antidote is the joy of self-praise. The complete arising of harm is when one is troubled by harm from flies, mosquitoes, etc., and cannot bear it, its antidote is not bringing to mind the harm that is not coming. Just a little bit.
