Furthermore, like contemplating and entering the Dharma through the gateway of understanding, abiding and engaging in meditative absorption (samadhi) through individual awareness, as well as causing others to enter meditative absorption, are also unique paths compared to the former. The third is that the special qualities of supernormal powers (abhijna) and other virtues, whether newly attained or maintained after having been previously attained, are also unique paths because they can make the abandonment of what was previously abandoned even more excellent. Incidentally, there are three aspects to cultivating the path: showing the four types of path cultivation, explaining the eleven categories, and the power of cultivating the path of higher levels. The first division is cultivating for the sake of attainment, and so on. Explaining the individual entities in detail, there are three aspects: from the perspective of establishing reality, from the perspective of how the path is entered, and from the perspective of explaining the differences in antidotes. The first is cultivating for the sake of attainment, which is cultivating to generate virtuous qualities such as mindfulness (smrti-upasthana) that have not previously arisen in one's mindstream, because it enables the attainment of virtuous qualities that have not been attained. The cultivation of familiarization is cultivating for the purpose of maintaining the virtuous qualities that have arisen, that is, to make the virtuous qualities that have been attained more familiar. The cultivation of seeking is cultivating the antidote to eliminate the seed potential that produces the ripened results of non-virtuous qualities that have already arisen in one's mindstream. Cultivating the antidote is to increase the power of the antidote. It makes future non-virtuous qualities into qualities that do not arise. The second is that when the noble path arises, establishing the habitual tendencies that will cause the arising of results that are in harmony with oneself is cultivating for the sake of attainment, because for it, those that arise from its cause will become even more blazing. The others are easy to understand. The third is that the antidote is known to be four types, such as refutation. Among them, refutation is seeing the contaminated aggregates as faults, because it refutes by seeing the aggregates of appropriation as faults through the aspects of diseases, tumors, and pains. Abandonment is the path of application and the path of non-interruption, because it abandons afflictions. The antidote of reliance is completely

The path of liberation is so called because it fully grasps the attainment of what has been abandoned. The path of enhancement is the superior path above the path of liberation, because it enhances the afflictions previously abandoned. Secondly, in terms of categories, there are eleven paths, which are briefly explained as follows: The path of completely discerning objects is the four mindfulnesses, because it initially discerns the objects of body, feelings, mind, and phenomena with aspects such as impurity. The path arising from effort is the four correct abandonments, because after completely examining objects in this way, diligence is initiated for the purpose of abandoning obscurations. The path of completely taming concentration is the four legs of miraculous power, because having completely tamed obscurations in this way, it is made workable through the concentrations of desire, effort, mind, and investigation. The path connected to realization is the five faculties, because having completely tamed concentration in this way, it is connected to the heat and peak stages, which are the nature of having power over generating the noble path. The path combined with realization is the five powers, because having obtained power in this way, it is for the sake of realizing the truth, possessing the nature of subduing unfavorable factors such as disbelief, and is connected to forbearance and the supreme mundane dharma. The path of realization is the seven branches of enlightenment, because it initially realizes each of them individually and directly with its own nature. The path of completely purifying and determining is the eightfold noble path, because after that, it causes the afflictions to be abandoned through meditation to appear completely purified. The paths that differ in terms of place and faculties are four types, where the difficult path refers to those who do not possess the ability and rely on the formless realms, because tranquility and insight are weak in sequence. The easy path refers to those who rely on meditation, because they can engage in dual union. Slow and fast realization refers to those with dull and sharp faculties in sequence. The path of completely training in the three trainings
