It is for this reason. All the truths of the path should be understood in four ways: establishment, contemplation, experience, and completion. Among these, establishment is how one thoroughly comprehends oneself, and in order to make others understand through the knowledge gained from this, the truths of the path are established through collections of names, words, and letters, such as forbearance and knowledge of the truths, and so on. Contemplation refers to the worldly wisdom that enters into manifest realization, contemplating as it has been established, and making it familiar. Experience refers to what is called the path of seeing in the process of becoming so familiar, which is the state beyond the world, free from elaboration, the first individual personal experience. Completion refers to the transformation of state after that, reaching completion, until the ultimate attainment is achieved. Those ultimate attainments, through the knowledge gained afterward, establish the truths of the path. Therefore, these four ways are the cycle of the path, and it should be understood that they are repeatedly established in dependence on others. Thus it is said. Among the two meanings of the scriptures, in terms of the meaning of the words, the meaning of the scriptures refers to what is said such as "all phenomena," which is spoken in terms of the path of seeing, because this is merely the nature of the eye of the wisdom of the noble ones, which initially possesses the truths. Therefore, the forbearance towards phenomena is without dust, because they abandon the suffering of afflictions. The knowledge of phenomena is free from defilement, because they arise in the state of abandoning the defilement of its obscurations. Furthermore, in the stage of forbearance, the suchness of the truths is directly and completely known, and the knowledge, because it arises in the state of abandoning obscurations, also makes the path completely pure through complete abandonment. In terms of benefit, the meaning of the scriptures is, quoting the scriptures, "one who sees the Dharma, one who attains the Dharma," and so on, which is also spoken in terms of the path of seeing, because it is spoken at the time when the beings to be tamed manifestly realize the truths. Therefore, the forbearance of phenomena sees the Dharma, because they manifestly realize the suchness of the truths.

O! Those who know the Dharma attain the Dharma, because they can directly attain the transformed place. Those who follow the forbearance are the seeds of the Dharma, because these are the causes of the noble Dharmas. This is to understand these two. Those who follow the wisdom understand the Dharma, because they can perfect all that is to be known. All those who have forbearance and wisdom, transcend doubt about their own attainments, and attain the fruit of the path beyond the world, because for a long time, there is no doubt about their own attainment of what they desire. Everyone can transcend doubt about what others have attained, because at that time, there will be no doubt about others attaining excellent results. They do not rely on the guidance of others, and do not need to receive the teachings of others, because they themselves are wise. They are not shaken by others, because they gain faith after knowing, and even other heretics in future lives cannot take away the teachings of the teacher. They gain fearlessness towards all Dharmas, because based on their own attainments, they do not feel timid like those who crave evil and have arrogance, towards the Dharmas they ask about, and the Dharmas that others ask about and give answers to. There are three types of meditation paths: dividing into nine paths, and explaining the meditation on their respective nature and accompanying phenomena. First, above the path of seeing, there is the worldly path, which has the appearance of tranquility and roughness; there is the path beyond the world, which has the appearance of truth; the difference between the two in nature is three types such as small, and the difference between the five aspects of these three types is four types such as the path of joining. Second, among the nine types, the first type is divided into two types: objects of knowledge and meanings of knowledge, the first type is worldly meditation and formless meditation. Meditation is also divided into two types according to the difference between arising and entering into samadhi, the meditation of arising refers to all the innate Dharmas possessed by beings from the Brahma realm to the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, because this is the result of the meditation of entering into samadhi. The meditation of entering into samadhi refers to the one-pointed mind and its corresponding Dharmas that transcend the lower ground through the limbs. The first of these is obtained by birth.
