Due to the difference in the way of realization, there are four types of knowledge of Dharma regarding suffering, and so on. Due to the difference in not fearing the realization of their unborn nature, there are four types of forbearance of knowledge of Dharma regarding suffering, and so on. Due to the realization of the unborn nature of the four truths, such as the suffering of the higher realms, there are four types of subsequent knowledge regarding suffering, and so on. Due to the difference in not fearing their Dharma nature, there are four types of forbearance of subsequent knowledge regarding suffering, and so on. According to the view of the noble Asanga, there are two classifications of the path of seeing: one is the classification of the abiding and flourishing of the teachings, with elaborate explanations; the other is the classification of the ultimate truth, which is the self-cognition of each individual, without elaborate explanations. In the first classification, there are two situations: one is the classification that takes only the suchness of the four truths as its object, and the other is the classification that takes both suchness and correct wisdom as its object. Starting from the first situation, from the summary of the classification, there are four minds corresponding to the knowledge of Dharma, four minds corresponding to the subsequent knowledge, and finally one mind of pure quiescence. It is said that these nine minds make the path of seeing complete. If these nine minds are summarized, they can be reduced to two paths: first, the path of arising quiescence and insight in union, and finally, the path of arising pure quiescence. In the first path, if we distinguish from the perspective of what is to be abandoned, there are four types of knowledge of Dharma corresponding to the difference of the four truths such as suffering experienced in the desire realm, and four types of subsequent knowledge corresponding to the difference of the four truths such as suffering experienced in the form and formless realms. Each of them is further divided into two types, forbearance and knowledge, due to the difference between the path of no interval and the path of liberation, so there are sixteen realizations in total. These sixteen realizations are also distinguished only from the perspective of what is to be abandoned, but in reality, they can all be reduced to two paths: the forbearance of the path of no interval and the knowledge of the path of liberation. If both suchness and correct wisdom are taken as the object of the path of seeing, then

Herein, the division of the sixteen moments of mind is as follows. This, again, has four that correspond to the aspect of Dharma-knowledge, due to the distinction of realizing the suchness of the four truths; and four that correspond to the aspect of subsequent knowledge, due to the distinction of experiencing the nature of one's own wisdom. The former, again, has four Dharma-acceptances and four Dharma-knowledges, due to the distinction of the path of non-interruption and the path of liberation; the latter, again, has four subsequent acceptances and four subsequent knowledges, due to the distinction of the ability to definitely lead the wisdom of the path of seeing itself as the cause of the noble dharmas, and the ability to definitely lead the second certainty of that certainty. If we summarize from the perspective of each self-aware non-elaborate ultimate reality, then based on the nature of the one mind that knows suchness and is in accordance with it, the path of seeing will be completely perfected. Here it is said that the path of calm abiding should be viewed as before. Thus, the first classification is merely a way to lead sentient beings who enjoy elaboration to realize the truth, dividing the single moment of stainless wisdom of the path of seeing into sixteen parts, and establishing it with a collection of names, words, and letters, but it is not actually established in reality. The second classification is only established on the object, because it establishes the order of how that suchness arises in the continuum of the yogi. The second division is the sixteen, such as the Dharma-knowledge-acceptance of suffering. Explaining each individual nature one word at a time, suffering has already been explained. From its point of view, Dharma refers to the sutras, etc., because they can establish it. During the stage of the path of joining, properly examining the dharmas that are based on suffering, such as impermanence, is called Dharma-knowledge of suffering. This is from the perspective of how it was previously examined. The suchness of the truth of suffering is the stainless wisdom that is directly realized by each yogi, that is, the wisdom by which one sees the suffering that is practiced in the three realms and abandons the twenty latent predispositions that should be abandoned.
