Peace is that in the visible dharma, there is no fruit of affliction, no mental suffering and discomfort. Extinction is that the remnants of the aggregates created by previous karma and afflictions naturally disappear. Second, there are four categories of qualities, among which the profound quality is: because it is free from the three characteristics of conditioned phenomena such as birth, it is unconditioned. Difficult to see because the noble ones can only realize it with the eye of wisdom, surpassing the realm of the flesh and divine eyes. There are five eyes, namely: the flesh eye, the divine eye, the wisdom eye, the dharma eye, and the Buddha eye. The flesh eye is said to be, in general, all the eyes of all sentient beings in the desire realm. With the flesh eye, one can see subtle and coarse forms from one hundred yojanas to three thousand great chiliocosms, which is called the flesh eye. The divine eye refers to the fruition arising from offering lamps and sesame oil, etc., to a supreme object in the past, surpassing the characteristics of the flesh eye, and the dharma similar to the divine eye obtained through meditation, being able to see subtle and coarse forms from one hundred yojanas to three thousand great chiliocosms, or forms beyond these. This is certainly present for the bodhisattvas who are the last existences of the wheel-turning king. This is called the divine eye because it is similar to the divine eye, but it is not the real divine eye, because this is included in the desire realm, while the divine eye is included in meditation. The wisdom eye is the wisdom that knows reality as it is. The dharma eye is of two kinds, namely the eye of scriptural dharma and the eye of realized dharma. Among them, the eye of scriptural dharma refers to knowing the words and meanings of the twelve divisions of scripture without any obstruction. This is the same as the dharani of words and meanings, and the former (wisdom eye) is the same in meaning as the dharani of forbearance. The eye of realized dharma refers to knowing the differences in realization of the four pairs and eight individuals as they are. The Buddha eye refers to the omniscient wisdom that manifests complete enlightenment of all dharmas in all ways. The four maras...

Among the qualities of being apart from self, immovability is because it is free from transmigrating and wandering from one realm to another, such as hells. Non-submission is because it is free from the three cravings of the three realms, therefore it does not submit to existence. Immortality is because it is free from the demon of the aggregates, the basis of death. Freedom from outflows is because it is free from the demon of afflictions such as attachment. The qualities of the support are that it is a place because it is the basis of the joy and happiness of liberation, free from fault. It is completely cut off from the great ocean of the three realms. Because it has become like a plain, it is called an island. Because it averts all harm such as birth, it is a protector. Thinking there, generating the mind of enlightenment, and practicing the path of union, etc., is a place that is the basis of having fruit, therefore it is called a protector. Going to the supreme state of the noble Arhat, it is a place that is the basis of being the object of the noble path, therefore it is called a friend. Among the qualities of happiness, immortality is because it is free from birth, therefore it is without decay. Freedom from epidemics is because it is free from all suffering such as lack of desire. Complete freedom from suffering is because it is free from sorrow, etc. Happiness is because it is free from fears such as sickness, old age, and death, therefore it is a place that is the basis of the noble ones abiding. Peace is a beneficial thing, a place for all virtuous dharmas. The basis of happiness is the happiness of ultimate truth, the basis of happiness without outflows. Transforming into happiness is the basis of the path to attaining that cessation, because union is happiness, abandoning the extremes of weariness and fatigue. Being without illness is because it is free from all obscurations of afflictions, karma, and birth. Immovability is because it is free from all distractions of the elaboration of objects. Transcendence of sorrow is because it is without characteristics of the consciousness of form, etc., and is a place that is the basis of happiness without outflows. Among the categories of averting suffering, suffering arises in the respective classes of sentient beings through the connection of rebirth. After that birth, the six sense bases, such as the eye, develop in a way that the body is completely complete.
