Therefore, it is because the fruit is produced earlier from the virtuous karma of that continuum. Karma arising from intentional action, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, is certain to experience its ripening result. If it has not been abandoned by the noble path and has not been fully understood, then it is powerful without distinction, because it is certain to produce the Vipāka. These powerful karmas as described above are what is meant in this sutra where it says "powerful karma." In terms of the element (dhātu), any undesirable non-virtuous action is also inherently powerful, because it has many retinues such as afflictions and near afflictions. In terms of the continuum, any virtuous or non-virtuous action that has been previously habituated, even a little practice will have power. When it abides and matures, whatever virtuous or non-virtuous action is practiced will operate with intense defilement and purification, therefore it is powerful, and those afflictions that have the nature of not transcending suffering, and those afflictions for which antidotes cannot be cultivated, are also inherently powerful. In terms of the field and intention, the field refers to killing one's father and mother, etc., and serving them, etc. Mental activity refers to making aspirations for great enlightenment, etc., these are also powerful. Being powerful in nine ways such as the field means: Thus, the field refers to the object upon which benefit or harm is done, that is, performing actions of benefit or harm to those who possess qualities such as discipline and samādhi, this is powerful from the field. The object refers to the object to be given as alms is good and abundant. The nature refers to from giving to discipline, and from discipline to meditation, etc. The basis refers to if one possesses the discipline of performing meritorious deeds and is free from desire, etc., then from that other thing it is powerful. Attention refers to if one has a strong motivation. Intention refers to if it is seized by the intention of liberation. The companion refers to being completely seized by other objects of meritorious deeds. Doing it many times refers to having done it again and again, or having repeatedly contemplated it through thought. Doing it by many people refers to having done it myself, and other

It is also allowed to do. If (it is) the opposite of the powerful karma as previously stated, then the opposite karmas should be understood as not having power. Secondly, quoting the sutra, the question is: The person who does karma, is this person happy or suffering, how and how does he do karma and accumulate, and the feeling matures in the same way, if that is the case, then abiding in celibacy is meaningless. Like this, because of having strong afflictions, observing separately, for the sake of guarding the precepts, accompanied by pain and unpleasantness. If the maturation is also felt in the same way, then it is meaningless to completely guard it. Being attached to other people's wives, etc., accompanied by happiness and pleasure, because the precepts are broken, so its maturation is also felt in the same way, then it is meaningless to abandon it. If that is the case, then there will be no time to exhaust and completely liberate the suffering of existence, because the maturation of abiding in celibacy, which is the cause of it, is painful. The person who does karma, when this person does karma, whether it is happiness or suffering, corresponding to which, the maturation is happiness or suffering, how to feel, doing good or non-good karma, etc., maturing in that way, feeling happiness or suffering, if that is the case, then the pain and unpleasantness of having strong afflictions, accompanied by relying on celibacy is meaningful, so it will abide in that way, and that is also the antidote cause of exhausting the presence or absence of suffering, so there is also a time to exhaust and completely liberate suffering. So what is the intention of this sutra? In response, the first sutra is to prevent the inconsistency of cause and effect, and the second sutra is to allow the consistency. That is, like this, in this sutra of how to do karma and accumulate, etc., it is to prevent the maturation of karma corresponding to happiness, etc., from feeling happiness, etc., when doing karma, because in that way one will not abide in celibacy, and one will not abandon non-celibacy. Because it has been shown. How to feel the karma of doing and accumulating, etc., when doing karma, the feeling is happiness, or suffering, or both.
