Like a dry clod of earth. There are also those that arise from two, like becoming moist. There are also those that arise from three, like becoming warm. There are also those that arise from the four elements, like when the clod of earth becomes moist, warm, and rolls along. There are also those that have one form as their cause of aggregation, like light. There are also those that have two, like air with sound and smell. There are also those that have three, like smoke. That is because it is distinguished by the differences of form, smell, and touch. The difference of touch should also be understood as smoke here. There are also those that have four forms as their cause of aggregation, like a lump of sugar. There are also those that have five, like that also having sound. Thus, whatever element and what arises from the element is perceived in any place, it should be understood as existing there, and not elsewhere. Analysis of the atom: It should be understood that the atom is not a body or a substance, because it is merely the division of form to the smallest limit by the mind, and thus it is established as an atom. If it is not a body, why is it established as an atom? Because when the mind divides form by parts and breaks it down into atoms, the conception of holding it as a whole, thinking "all these internal forms are one," will be destroyed. In this way, it will be in accordance with entering into the selflessness of the person. Thus, when form is broken down into atoms by the mind, one realizes that form has no nature of substance, and thus one enters into the state where external forms are not completely established as substance. Like this, by merely entering into the state of consciousness, one realizes the selflessness of phenomena, and external forms are not completely established as substance, like this, by merely entering into the state of consciousness, it is in accordance with entering into the path of the selflessness of phenomena. In general, there are two divisions of suffering. What is to be explained is from "Also, this suffering is" and so on. Explaining it: The suffering of those who act in the desire realm and have not accumulated the roots of virtue of liberation and immovability is the five realms and birth.

Because it possesses all the sufferings of the four states, it is very prosperous. Because it has not accumulated the roots of virtue that are in accordance with liberation and immovability, it is also not diminished. Diminished refers to those who have generated the roots of virtue in accordance with liberation, because they are certain to completely pass beyond suffering without delay. Practicing in desire, in order to separate oneself from worldly desire, those who have accumulated the roots of immovable virtue are temporarily certain to pass beyond the suffering of suffering itself, so it is diminished, but because it is not forever, it is also not undiminished. Children of the form realm who have completely abandoned the roots of virtue in accordance with liberation are in an intermediate state relative to the suffering of the upper and lower realms (referring to the desire realm and the formless realm), and because it is uncertain whether they can be liberated from suffering, they are undiminished. Children born in the formless realm who have abandoned the conditions for liberation are also diminished relative to the two lower realms (referring to the desire realm and the form realm), and because it is uncertain whether they can be liberated from suffering, they are also undiminished. For those in the state of learning, because they have transcended the evil realms, moisture-born, and egg-born, it is diminished, and because liberation is certain within seven existences, etc., it is a great diminution. For those in the state of no more learning, the name and form that arise due to the condition of the life force are diminished because only that extent of going, place of birth, and suffering itself remain, and because they are liberated from suffering in that very life, it is an extremely great diminution. Bodhisattvas who have reached the other shore of mastery, who consciously take birth in samsara for the benefit of others, are not suffering because karma and afflictions have not arisen, but because they appear to be born in the eyes of others, they appear to be suffering, and because they eliminate the suffering of immeasurable beings, they abide in a great diminution. Regarding the special explanation of the suffering of death, there are five types. The classification of the suffering of death is: previously, when explaining the eight sufferings, the suffering of death was mentioned, among which there are three types of death, namely having virtuous thoughts, etc. The reason is that the mind at the moment of the final breath is afflicted, so the three, such as virtue, refer to the previous state. The above is an explanation of it.

Thus, the clarity of the continuum of consciousness, mind, and mental consciousness arises either from oneself cultivating virtuous roots through proper mindfulness, or from others teaching the Dharma, thereby directing the mind towards virtue. All of these can be regarded as dying with a virtuous mind. When the mind is clear, whether due to one's own or another's influence, cultivating an unwholesome mind is dying with an unwholesome mind. Whether the mind is clear or unclear, either because both self and other conditions are not complete, or even if they are complete, the mind is unclear due to weakness of body and mind, making it impossible for the mind to clearly incline towards good or bad, such a state is dying with an indeterminate mind. Thus, dying with a virtuous mind is dying with a peaceful death, and at the time of death, their body will not experience intense suffering. Dying with an unwholesome mind is dying with a painful death, and at the time of death, their body will experience intense suffering. Dying with a virtuous mind, the visions will not be distorted, while dying with an unwholesome mind, the visions will be distorted. Dying with an indeterminate mind, one does not die with a peaceful death, nor with a painful death. Furthermore, those who commit unwholesome deeds at the time of death will experience the unpleasant results of those deeds here, and like a dream, many unpleasant visions will appear to them. For those who commit great unwholesome deeds, seeing these unpleasant signs will cause suffering, and they will make a "phoozing" sound, flail their limbs, lose control of urine and feces, exhale from the mouth, and similar phenomena will occur. If they commit moderate unwholesome deeds, some of these phenomena will occur, and some will not. The Blessed One, considering this, said: Those who have previously committed and accumulated sinful, unwholesome deeds, at the time of death, the next life...
