Now, this shows that it is not the realm of the wisdom of the noble transcendent of the world, but it does not show that the dependent origination is not established as the ultimate truth that can be examined by reason. Furthermore, in the commentary on the Discrimination of the Middle and the Extremes, it says: 'The characteristic of dependence exists nominally, but it is not only that, because it is illusory.' Etc. The reason why dependent origination is explained as conventional is that it obscures the seeing of suchness, and because it is the object of complete affliction, it is only explained as conventional. However, there is not even a little bit of the Mind-Only teachings that show it to be a conventional truth that cannot be examined by reason. Thus, the nature of the completely imputed is that it exists nominally but not substantially, and the nature of dependence exists substantially but is not established as existing, and the nature of the thoroughly established is beyond all terms such as existence and non-existence. This is truly correct and not inverted. Then, how are these three natures included by the two truths? The nature of the thoroughly established is the ultimate truth, and the nature of the completely imputed is only the conventional truth. The nature of dependence is also the ultimate truth from one aspect, and it is also the conventional truth from another aspect. From which aspect is it called the ultimate truth? Because it is substantially established when examined by reason, it is called the ultimate truth from that aspect. From which aspect is it called the conventional truth? Because it obscures the seeing of suchness, and because it becomes the object of complete affliction, it is called the conventional truth from that aspect. Therefore, the truth that is the ultimate truth from one aspect will never become the conventional truth, and the truth that has become the conventional truth from one aspect will never become the ultimate truth. Therefore, the characteristics of the two truths will not be confused with each other. For that very reason, it is also said in the Summary of the Great Vehicle: 'From one aspect, it is dependence; from one aspect, it is completely imputed; from one aspect, it is thoroughly established.' This is what was said. These three natures are...

Then, by what is it realized? The nature of the pariniṣpanna is the realm of non-conceptual wisdom. As it is said in the Dharani entering into non-conceptualization: 'Non-conceptual wisdom sees all dharmas as the center of the sky.' Thus it is said. The nature of the paratantra is realized by the pure worldly wisdom obtained after that. As it is said in the same sutra: 'The wisdom obtained after that sees all dharmas as illusion, mirage, dream, echo, moon in water, and emanation.' Thus it is said. This is not the object of children's minds. Because children cling to the nature of persons and dharmas as different, they cannot completely cut off this nature as it is. For example, when one clings to a rope as a snake and a mirage as water, the eye consciousness experiences the color of the mirage and the rope, but due to the cause of confusion, it generates the clinging to something else, and cannot bring forth the definite understanding that completely cuts off as one has experienced. Similarly, children also experience the unreal parikalpita in their own minds in the manner of self-awareness, but due to the power of the habitual tendencies of clinging to persons and dharmas since beginningless time, they cling to other forms, and do not completely cut off as they have experienced. Therefore, the paratantra is not the object of children's minds. When the non-dual Suchness is directly realized, then by the power of that wisdom, even when rising from samadhi, there is no person or dharma, even a little, other than mere consciousness. For example, when the senses are confused by mantras and the like, the consciousness itself arises and appears in various forms such as women, monasteries, gardens, and pleasure groves. Similarly, due to the power of habitual tendencies, this mere variety of unreal conceptualizations appears as the bodies and enjoyments of the three realms. Thus, the nature of the paratantra also appears as it truly is.
