I am encompassed by unreal imputation. Inner and outer are the consciousnesses that appear as the body. Vastness is the consciousness that appears as the world of the container. Emptiness is the consciousness that appears as emptiness. Ultimate reality is the nature of emptiness in ultimate reality itself. Conditioned is the virtue of conditioned things such as faith. Unconditioned is the virtue of unconditioned things such as nirvana. Transcendence of extremes is the consciousness of wanting to benefit beings. Without beginning or end is the consciousness that appears in samsara. Without abandonment is the act of not exhausting virtue even at the time of nirvana without remainder. Nature is the consciousness of lineage. Characteristics are the signs and marks. All phenomena are powers, etc., and each of those is empty of both the imputed self and phenomena, which is the emptiness of that and that. Thus, the doctrine that where there is nothing, it is empty of that, and that whatever remains here is present here, also applies well to this. Thus, on the basis of refutation, the other-powered, whatever imputed person and phenomenon that is to be refuted is absent, then it is empty of that, and on the basis of refutation, the other-powered, whatever remainder of the imputed that is refuted, whatever is the basis of refutation, the other-powered, that is truly present here. The statement that what exists truly exists and what does not exist truly does not exist can also be well quoted, because the other-powered, which is empty of both, is established as mere consciousness, and because the nature imputed as person and phenomenon is not truly established in any way. Therefore, in the "Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes" it says: 'The unreal imputation exists, On it, the two do not exist, Emptiness exists on this, On it, that also exists. Not empty, not not empty, Because of existence, because of non-existence, because of existence, Thus, all is explained, This is the Middle Way.' What is said, etc., also applies well to this reasoning, but not to the tenets of those who speak of other-emptiness, because according to them, just like imputation, the other-powered must also not be established by its own nature, but in these texts, the other-powered, the unreal imputation, is said to be truly established as a real entity like the basis of an illusion. Thus, the other-powered all

To say that "the parinispanna-svabhava, which is empty of imputation, is established as truly existent" and that this view is in accordance with the tenets of the noble Maitreya and the brothers Asanga, this assertion has long been abandoned. Apart from what I have said above and what will be explained below, other presentations of emptiness and the three natures do not arise at all from the tenets of those individuals. Moreover, those presentations and the previous position seem to be highly contradictory. Therefore, this is contrary to the intention of the Mahayana sutras and their commentaries, as well as the tenets of the Mind-Only and Madhyamaka schools. This point has been well established. These are just some rough flaws that I have mentioned about this evil tenet. If examined in detail, there are many scriptural and logical faults, such as not conforming to the sutras, not appearing in the Vinaya, contradicting the nature of reality, and so on. But here, I have not elaborated on them in order not to hinder the explanation of the main points. Now, the nature of each of the three natures, such as the parikalpita, will be described. So, what is the nature of the paratantra? It is the consciousness based on the alaya-vijñana, possessing seeds, and included by the non-truly existent parikalpita. What are these consciousnesses? They are the consciousness of the body, the consciousness of the embodied, the consciousness of the eater, the consciousness to be used by it, the consciousness that uses it, the consciousness of time, the consciousness of number, the consciousness of place, the consciousness of name, the consciousness of self and other, the consciousness of happy migrations, unhappy migrations, death and birth. Among them, the consciousness of the body appears as the sense organs such as the eye. The consciousness of the embodied appears as the mind organ. The consciousness of the eater appears as the mental consciousness. The consciousness to be used by it appears as the external ayatanas such as form. The consciousness that uses it appears as the five consciousnesses such as eye consciousness. The consciousness of time appears as the three times. The consciousness of number
