If someone asks: Do all those who see things see everything clearly? There are four possibilities: First, not clinging to the "four names" as permanent, etc., but viewing them with an attitude of what should be known and what should be abandoned. Second, viewing "form" while clinging to it as permanent, etc. Third, viewing "form" as impermanent, etc. Fourth, clinging to the "four names" as permanent, etc., and viewing them with an attitude of what should be abandoned and what should not be abandoned. Just as there are four possibilities for "form," similarly, "feeling," etc., should also be viewed with four possibilities. The gateway of reasons refers to the place where the meaning of six reasons is explained, namely: the reason of only this meaning, the reason of attainment, the reason of explanation, the reason of abandoning the two extremes, the reason of being inconceivable, and the reason of intention. Among these, the first three reasons should be understood through the latter three reasons in order. For example, in the Sutra of Tasting, it says: "Monks, for form, there is tasting, fault, and arising." From this statement to "consciousness" is said in the same way, which shows that the extreme of slander and superimposition is abandoned, thereby revealing the reason of only this meaning. "Monks, to what extent have I attained unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, until the time of enlightenment." The phrase "knowing inwardly" completely reveals the reason of attainment and the reason of being inconceivable, because it shows that it is attained by each person's own realization. All of this sutra is the reason of explanation. Furthermore, it should also be understood through the reason of intention, because this sutra is spoken considering the things to be fully understood, the meaning to be fully understood, the full understanding, and the fruit of full understanding. This sutra is spoken considering the meaning to be fully understood, the full understanding, and the fruit of full understanding. Among these, the things to be fully understood are form, etc. Second, through tasting, etc., it is to fully understand things such as form. Third, transforming the five aggregates of grasping into three, such as tasting, etc., thereby obtaining the wisdom of realizing things as they truly are. Fourth, together with the gods, the world

From "dependence" to "liberation." The fifth is to inwardly know the complete and perfect enlightenment of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete awakening. The doors of complete knowledge and so on are: the characteristic of suchness, the characteristic of complete knowledge, the characteristic of abandonment, the characteristic of manifestation, the characteristic of cultivation, and the characteristic of suchness, etc. These are the characteristics of various distinctions, the characteristic of the relation between place and abiding, the characteristic of interruption between complete knowledge and so on, the characteristic of accordance, the characteristic of the faults of non-comprehension, and the characteristic of the benefits of comprehension. These are shown, like the Sutra of Tasting, for example. The first of these is the truth of suffering, which is included in the five aggregates of appropriation. The second is knowing that as it is through tasting, etc. The third and fourth are liberation from all the world, because of abandoning obscurations and manifesting the transformation of the place. The fifth is abiding many times with a mind free from perversion. Sixth, the characteristic of suchness is divided into five from form to consciousness. The characteristic of complete knowledge is divided into three, from fault to fault, from arising to knowing as it is. The characteristics of abandonment and manifestation are divided into two: liberation from afflictions and liberation from suffering. The characteristic of cultivation is divided into two: the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. The seventh is to show that the characteristics of suchness and so on below are the places of those above. The eighth is not knowing as it is, transforming into three, such as faults. The ninth is to observe how these forms and so on abide, and to analyze the faults and so on. The tenth is not being able to manifest complete and perfect enlightenment from non-liberation to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete awakening. The eleventh is to be known as the opposite of that. The door of power and non-power is that if a single word is not spoken, this meaning cannot be understood.
