I possess, whether or not I am intoxicated by sensual pleasures, I will not degenerate, and because I am naturally sharp-witted, I do not need to tame the senses. The first five are those who are born with that kind of aptitude, and the latter are those who are accomplished through practice, and those who are born with that kind of aptitude. The Kashmiris say: Some are born with that kind of aptitude, and some are accomplished through practice. They say that except for the first, the other five have both those who are born with that kind of aptitude, and those who are previously accomplished through practice. In the Abhidharmakosha commentary, it says: Those who have the nature of complete degeneration will certainly not degenerate, nor will they belong to those who have the ability to realize, because of existence, so it is said. If this is done, then there can be six kinds of Arhats in all three realms. According to those who believe that they will surely degenerate completely, and even realize, there are six kinds in the desire realm, and in the two upper realms, there are two kinds: those who do not arise from the dwelling place and those who have the nature of immovability, because in those two cases, it is impossible to have complete degeneration, thinking of death, and the growth of the senses. The latter part of what is said is consistent with this treatise. The sixth section, the detailed classification of the realms, is divided into two. The nine realms of the three realms in general refer to those who practice in the desire realm, etc., because they are born differently due to their respective karmas, so they are ordinary beings. The Dharma of the noble ones is the path of non-leakage, and universal union refers to afflictions, and the others are easy to understand. Explaining in detail the basis of the desire and form realms, the Bodhisattva who has obtained the special power is practicing in the desire and form realms, but not in the formless realm, because that is not the place to fully mature sentient beings. Therefore, those who have completely abandoned the meditation of being born in the formless realm, because they have not degenerated from that meditation, abide in the bliss of that meditation, and in order to fully mature sentient beings, they are born in the desire and form realms. Solitary Buddhas do not appear, as it is said in the Root Wisdom of the Middle Way: When the Buddhas do not appear, and the Shravakas are exhausted, the wisdom of the Solitary Buddha arises without relying on anything. Thus it is said.

Thus it is. Suchness is a sign and is declared to others, or the Buddhas of the past departed in such a way, therefore the Tathagata, whose secrets of body, speech, and mind are inconceivable, from the abode of Tushita to the victory over the armies of Mara, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and from the attainment of complete enlightenment to the entry into Nirvana, the conduct of a perfect Buddha, is also shown in the desire realm, as it is said in the Uttaratantra: "Great compassion knows the world, and beholding all beings, without moving from the Dharmakaya, with various emanations, descending from the Tushita heaven, entering the womb and being born, being skilled in the arts, enjoying the retinue of consorts, renouncing and practicing austerities, going to the Bodhi tree, destroying the Mara army and attaining perfect enlightenment, turning the wheel of Dharma and passing into Nirvana, showing all deaths, in impure realms, showing existence as long as it lasts." As it is said. The twelve deeds of this teacher, etc., are seen in the Lalitavistara Sutra, etc. The seventh section, well distinguished by practice, has five parts. First, the Bodhisattva who practices by faith is on the ground of practice by faith, on the path of application, possessing the small patience, etc., of definitely thinking about the Dharma, as previously explained, because he is separated from the wisdom that transcends the world, therefore he practices by faith in the Dharma-nature. In the commentary, it is explained that dwelling in the lineage, from the beginning of making great aspirations until not entering the Joyful Ground, thus explaining the two, the accumulation and application paths, contradicts the sutra which says small patience, etc., because the path of accumulation is the ground of faith, so it does not possess the patience of definitely thinking about the Dharma. Second, the one who practices with superior intention is because in the ten grounds, having obtained the wisdom that transcends the world, the intention is completely pure. What is called the Bodhisattva ground? It is the non-conceptual wisdom held by great compassion, because it becomes the basis of all white Dharma qualities. The Uttaratantra says: "Like the earth, the medicine of white Dharma, all kinds, at all times is the basis, this is called Buddha-nature." And the Madhyamakavatara says:
