Therefore, it is the nature of being the cause and condition of the laws of affliction. Therefore, although the substance of these two is not specifically indicated separately, their characteristics are extremely different. Therefore, those who said in the past that these two are of one essence but different in reversal should be understood as not well said. Among them, the first is: This is also the basis for children to cling to as self, so it is also the alaya. Because it holds the aspects of objects, it is also consciousness. Because it has become the nature of the complete ripening of karmic imprints, it is also the Vipaka. Therefore, it is also called Alaya, also called Alaya-consciousness, and also called Vipaka-consciousness. The latter is: Here, all the afflicted dharmas are the objects of fruit, or this also applies and gathers them as the objects of cause, so it is the nature of Alaya itself, but it is not consciousness, so it is not Alaya-consciousness or Vipaka-consciousness. Also, if you ask: Is whatever is Alaya-consciousness also Vipaka-consciousness? Combine it with the previous sentence. Only the Vipaka-consciousnesses of ordinary beings, Hinayana learners, and those below the seventh ground are Alaya-consciousness. There are Vipaka-consciousnesses that are not Alaya-consciousness, namely, the state with remaining aggregates, and the Vipaka-consciousness from the eighth ground to the Vajra-like Samadhi is not Alaya, because it has destroyed all the seeds of affliction, so they do not cause them, and because they have abandoned the afflicted mind, they do not act as the basis for clinging to self. However, they also only have Vipaka-consciousness, namely, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because their stream does not cease until they have attained Nirvana without remaining aggregates, and also the Bodhisattvas do not attain the transformation of the mirror-like wisdom until they have abandoned all the seeds of the obscurations of knowledge. The object of the Alaya-consciousness of the nature of Vipaka also engages in two in the realm of form, namely, the consciousness that takes and.

It is the aspectual consciousness of the vessel world. The first is also divided into the habit of clinging to the completely imputed, and the two colored roots with a place. Among them, the first is called taking because it takes the form with the root. The second is taking because it is to be taken. The aspectual consciousness of the vessel is: mountains, houses, houses, etc., which appear outside without being collected by the senses. Why are these three the objects of the alaya consciousness? In this way, the habit of manifesting attachment to the nature of the completely imputed is the cause and condition, and the ripened consciousness arises, appearing as the eye and other senses belonging to the self and other continuums, and the aspect of the vessel world of mountains, houses, houses, etc. Therefore, the habit of clinging to the completely imputed is the cause of the ripened consciousness that has the object of appearing as objects and sentient beings, so it is regarded as its object. For example, the Sutra masters believe that although objects such as form and sound do not directly appear to the root consciousness, they can generate the aspect held by the consciousness, so they are regarded as its object. The colored roots with a basis and the vessels of the external world are the objects because they are to be held by the ripened consciousness. The remaining name aggregates are not the taken part of the alaya consciousness, so they are not considered its objects. In the formless realm, only the habit of the completely imputed is the object, in this way, the habit of the completely imputed is the cause and condition, and the nature of the immovable karma accomplished by the samadhi of the infinite space, etc., is the condition, and the ripened consciousness born in the four formless realms, in the first two, is the object with the object of taking the immeasurable, and in the latter two, is the object with the object of taking the subtle and extremely subtle. Why do these not show the inner roots and the outer vessels? If these are also like the internal and external colored things such as eye and form, they are the habits of the manifestation of speech.
