There are no seeds. Also, the establishment of entry as the sole cause is like this: From that, for that, the ālaya-vijñāna is the one that possesses seeds. And what relies on it is that, relying on the colored sense faculties that are grasped by the ālaya-vijñāna, the five aggregates of consciousness will arise, but not for those that are not grasped. The support of the five aggregates of consciousness is like the eye, etc. If the ālaya-vijñāna, which is the support of mind and mental consciousness, exists, then mind and mental consciousness will also arise, and if it does not exist, it will not. For that, the entering consciousness performs the function of the cause of the ālaya-vijñāna in two ways: in this life, it causes the seeds to fully ripen, and in the next life, it generates the seeds that accomplish the manifestation of that. Causing the seeds to fully ripen in this life is: just as the entering consciousness, which relies on the ālaya-vijñāna, arises as virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral, so too, on its own support, it imprints habitual tendencies by arising and ceasing together with it. Because of that cause and that condition, the entering consciousnesses also become more and more familiar, more and more practiced, and more and more clear objects. Another kind of its habitual tendencies enters in order to fully grasp the ripening of that very ālaya-vijñāna in the next life. Thus it is said. The meaning of that is this: the ālaya-vijñāna, which has become the nature of fruition, is the main cause of the seven aggregates of entering consciousness. Like this, from the five sense faculties such as the eye, which are grasped by it, the five aggregates of consciousness will transform, and because of its power, the afflicted mind will arise in the form of self, and because of that very thing, mental consciousness also relies on that very thing. The nature of the seed of the ālaya-vijñāna is the co-existing cause of those, the seven aggregates are born from the cause of the habitual tendencies that manifest themselves.

Because of arising. The entering consciousnesses are also the cause of the possessor of the nature of maturation, because they completely place the seeds in it. The nature of the seeds is the co-existent cause, because they place the seeds. Therefore, the alaya consciousness and the entering consciousnesses enter each other by means of one cause. There, entering with co-existent things means that the entering consciousness, and the co-existent thing, and the feeling and the co-existent thing, and virtue, etc., should also be understood by the co-existent thing. Among them, the first is that the alaya consciousness sometimes enters together with only one entering consciousness, such as the mind and so on. For example, the mind that grasps at self, and the pride that thinks "I am," and the aspect of arrogance, always arises and enters together with the alaya consciousness, even in the state of having mind and not having mind, because it is the aspect of grasping and being arrogant towards the alaya consciousness with the thought of "I am" and "self." Sometimes it arises and enters together with both mind and consciousness. Sometimes it is any one and three of the five aggregates of consciousness. Sometimes it arises together with two and four of the five aggregates of consciousness. Sometimes it arises together with the five aggregates of consciousness, and together with between seven. It is said. What feeling does it enter with? Again, it is said from there that the alaya consciousness sometimes enters mixed with feelings of pleasure, and suffering, and neither suffering nor pleasure, because any feeling depends on the entering consciousness and arises from it. Among them, in humans and desire realm gods, and animals, and some pretas, it is with the co-born feeling of neither pleasure nor pain, and the aggregates of entering consciousness with feelings of pleasure or pain, or suffering also
