It is the completion of the action. These four are also the uncommon actions of earth and so on. The elements generate what will arise, and the result of performing five kinds of actions such as being a support, it is said in the sutra that when showing form, one great element is made the cause. The five causes have already been explained. The detailed explanation is divided into two, explaining the form of the cause: Before, only the names of the four great elements were mentioned, because it was not known what that meant, so it was asked what are the four great elements? The answer is: Because it holds its own characteristics and the form that is made the cause, earth and so on are themselves realms. In order to distinguish the elements from each other internally and from the eye realm and so on, the words earth and so on are spoken. In order to distinguish earth and so on from the earth and so on that are circulated in the world, the word realm is spoken. Like this, earth and so on are divided into two kinds of differences that are circulated in the world and in the scriptures. Among them, the earth and so on that are circulated in the world are not realms, because those are called the nature of colors and shapes such as white earth and blue water. Those that are circulated in the scriptures, because they have hardness and so on, are reasonable realms in reality. Or, the word realm has the meaning of cause, and the elements such as earth are also the source of the form of the fruit, therefore, the word realm with the meaning of cause is established on those. The form of the fruit such as the eyes is not like that, so the word realm is not used here. This is also an explanation without fault. So, what are the earth realm and so on? In order, they are the hardness, moisture, warmth, and lightness, and the shaking itself that appear to the consciousness of the body. Among them, hardness, stiffness, and viscosity are the same meaning. The nature of gathering is dampness and moisture. Burning is warmth. When showing the wind realm, the words lightness and shaking are spoken twice, because some fruit forms, such as cotton and so on, have the nature of lightness that is easy to lift, therefore those also...
