It is said that the venerable Dharmakirti established two ways of meaning. One is based on the view that things are substantially existent. The second is based on the position of acknowledging that forms and other things are not substantially existent, but are merely nominal. The first is merely a position acknowledged as a means of guiding others, and is not a position that one agrees with oneself. The second is taught for the sake of establishing conventional truth, so it is the position that one agrees with oneself. Otherwise, these establishments would be contradictory, so one would have to admit contradictions in one's own treatises. Although the noble Asanga also refutes others, he does not establish that external objects are substantially existent, but for the sake of children who follow ignorance, based on the appearance and assertion of earth, water, fire, wind, and forms transformed from earth, water, fire, and wind, he establishes conventional truth. Therefore, in this treatise and in the *Yogācārabhūmi* and so on, he elaborates on the establishment of the aggregates of form. Some people from most Tibetans up to Buton (1290-1364) think that in the *Meaningful Explanation*, the *Yogācārabhūmi* is explained by considering the common and uncommon aspects of the Hearers and so on. Therefore, they think that the establishment of the aggregates of form and so on in this treatise is mostly the establishment of the Sautrāntika school, which is not reasonable. Because this treatise and the *Yogācārabhūmi* both prohibit the view that form is substantially existent, and also prohibit the view that forms, sounds, and other things are composed of atoms. Atoms are merely conceptual constructs, not substantially existent. Length, shortness, and other shapes are objects of eye consciousness, and the establishment of the eight aggregates of consciousness, which is completely different from the views of the Sautrāntika school. The Sautrāntikas believe that atoms and forms and other things accumulated by atoms are substantially existent, and that shapes are merely conceptual constructs, so they are not objects of sense consciousness, and they establish consciousness as only six aggregates. How could these establishments have anything in common? In the *Meaningful Explanation*, it is said that the *Yogācārabhūmi* and other guides for the three types of beings are common treatises for the Hearers and so on and the Lesser Vehicle, while the *Compendium of the Great Vehicle* is only for Bodhisattvas.

Therefore, in order not to proclaim, it is shown that the Mahayana is a non-common scripture. Therefore, because they spoke like that without distinguishing between vehicle and tenet, for us, the meaning of the Mahayana Abhisamayalankara scripture, which is like an ocean, the intellectual ability to explain without reversing it, is like saying "there is hope," which is to reveal one's own faults and swear to give up. In this way, in the aspect of the Mind-Only school, there are three kinds of form: the completely imputed form, the nominally designated form, and the perfectly established form. The first is that which appears as having form in the minds of children, and as it appears, the mind grasps form as having form. The second is the pure worldly object that is included in the non-real pervasive cognition of the mind that appears in that way. The third is the object of non-conceptual wisdom, the nature of emptiness of the completely imputed form, which is empty of the completely imputed. Therefore, it should be understood that this scripture and the form aggregate established in the Yogacara school are in terms of the completely imputed form. Among them, the completely imputed form has two kinds: subtle particles and coarse. The first is that which appears as coarse form, which is separated by the mind and only established as the ultimate of smallness, but there is no establishment of substance. As it is said in the Yogacarabhumi-sastra: "Subtle particles are only attached from the complete cutting off of the limit of measure by the mind." And in the Samgrahavastusamgraha it is also said: "The nature of subtle particles is because it is completely cut off by wisdom and established." Like this is said. Subtle particles are also divided into two kinds. One is that which is analyzed and established by the mind from the coarse, and the other is called the subtle particle of substance. In terms of the first, in the Samgrahavastusamgraha it says: "The subtle particles are established by the mind completely cutting off the extreme of form, but it is not from the form of the body, therefore the subtle particles will not be born or cease, and the accumulation of subtle particles is not the collection of form." This is what is said. In terms of the second, it is also said in that same text: "Among them, from the difference of analytical establishment, there are five kinds of subtle particles of the sense organs such as the eye,
