Because of that reason. Furthermore, it is also unreasonable to consider the consciousness that faints in the mother's womb as the mind consciousness. Because it is always thrown by the contaminated mind of the final state of the intermediate existence, like the sense faculties of the body. Because it is of a nature that the object appearance is completely uninterrupted, it does not apprehend what is the object of the mind consciousness. Furthermore, even if it is admitted that the mind consciousness that faints in the mother's womb in the desire realm is the mind consciousness, is that fainting mind consciousness the seed-all? Or is the second mind consciousness that arises dependent on it the seed-all? According to the first case, it itself is both the result of maturation and the seed-all, so we only give the name 'fainting mind consciousness' to what we acknowledge as the alaya consciousness. What is the use of us arguing about names? If you say that the second mind consciousness that arises dependent on it is the seed-all, then the object of the place from which it arises is not the seed-all either, let alone being the seed-all dependent on it? Therefore, it is established that the consciousness that faints in the mother's womb is not the mind consciousness, but the maturation consciousness, called the seed-all. Furthermore, if there is no alaya consciousness, then the sense faculties that have already been linked cannot remain until the end of life through methods such as taming, because there is no consciousness that completely holds them. Like a dead body. For this, for the time being, the consciousnesses of the senses cannot serve to hold the body, because in this way, do they hold by means of focusing on the body, or by means of relying on it? The first case is unreasonable, because external forms and so on would also become held by the mind. According to the second case, only the sense faculties would be held by the mind, while the elements that arise together with the sense faculties, those that are arising and will arise, would not be held by the mind at all, because they do not serve as the basis for sense consciousness. Also for the sense faculties,
