Since it is not accomplished by form, it is not accepted here. However, the actions of body and speech, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, are invisible and unimpeded, and because they are not objects of others' perception, others cannot understand one's own motivations. These are words that are used depending only on form, so they are considered as form and change like atoms. Therefore, this is called non-revealing form. Are the actions of body and speech, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, themselves the nature of form? Or not? What difference does it make? If it is like the first case, then what is the point of acknowledging the non-revealing form of the Vaibhashikas? If it is like the second case, then what is the advantage of showing it there for non-form? It is said that it is not the nature of form, because these are the nature of virtue and non-virtue. To consider form as virtuous and non-virtuous is not the act of the sons of Shakya. What is it then? Form distinguishes these, therefore it is form. Therefore, in the 'Explanation of Distinctions,' it is also said that form has three meanings, as it is said in the sutra: Thus, the meaning of form is threefold: the meaning of being an object that can be constantly observed; the meaning of being form as the touch of the aggregation of hands, etc., produces changes; the meaning of being form as form establishes them. Thus, the form that can be indicated, this is Nao, that is Nao, because it is an object that can be constantly observed, therefore it is form; the form that is obstructed, the touch of the aggregation of hands, etc., produces changes, because it is form, therefore it is form; the invisible and unimpeded form, called the non-revealing form of body and speech, because form establishes it, therefore it is form. Thus, if there are no body and speech, it cannot be established, because without form, it cannot be established. So it is said. Then, if it is not form, what is its nature? Killing and abstaining from killing, etc., are the revealing forms of body and speech, which are the nature of the mental factor of thought that powerfully motivates everything at will.

Yes, it is so. Why is this called the karma of body and speech? Because it causes the manifestation of body and speech to enter into action, therefore it is called the karma of body and speech. For example, just as when the mind is focused, it is called the karma of mind. Why are such thoughts called killing and stealing? Because it prevents the lives of others and takes what is not given, that is why it is said so. How is it so? Because the manifestations of body and speech that it produces can do this and that, therefore it is said to be done by it. For example, just as when a thief sets a fire, it is said that the thief burned the village. Such thoughts are also of three kinds: moving, decisive, and wavering thoughts. The first two are thinking, because the latter causes the manifestations of body and speech to enter into action. The first two are also called the intention of the causal time and the karma of mind, and the latter is called the intention of that time and the karma of thought. For those who do not have the manifestations of body and speech entering into action, those thoughts as mentioned above cannot be established, just like the formless realm. Therefore, the establishment of those thoughts depends on the manifestations of body and speech, and the manifestations of body and speech depend on the great elements, so ultimately establishing them depends on the great elements, therefore it is said to be made by the great elements. Thus, the karma of body and speech is both manifestation and non-manifestation, and because manifestation is colored, it will become virtuous or non-virtuous, just as colored birthplaces such as color will become virtuous or non-virtuous, if someone thinks so, then he is not a son of Shakya, because it is said so in the "Reasoning of Accomplishing Karma". Therefore, only the non-manifestation with the characteristics mentioned above is the karma of body and speech that becomes virtuous or non-virtuous. Thus, what is said here as "arising from proper acceptance" refers directly to the non-manifestation held by the Pratimoksha vows, and by this it can be inferred, the vows of meditation and non-outflow, as well as non-vows and intermediate ones.
