Because the place of arising cannot be distinguished, it depends on other assemblies and becomes an obstructed thing. Why do the elements and the things transformed from the elements that exist in one assembly reside in the same location? Because it is contradictory for obstructed things to exist in the same location. If someone asks this, answer: If the elements and the things transformed from the elements are established in the ultimate truth, then it is very contradictory for two obstructed things to exist in the same location. Therefore, the elements and the things transformed from the elements that exist in one assembly, just like a pile of various grains such as barley, rice, and beans, should exist in different locations. But here, the elements and the things transformed from the elements are established according to how they appear to the deluded mind that follows ignorance, as previously explained, and are not truly existent. Due to the deluded mind, it is not contradictory for obstructed things to appear in the same location, for example, in a dream, a deluded consciousness might dream that a herd of many elephants is crowded into a very small room. In reality, there is no room for even one elephant to fit in a room, let alone many elephants. Therefore, the elements such as earth and the transformed elements such as form that exist in one assembly reside in the same location, because the tangible object of the earth element of that assembly is the object perceived by the body's sense faculty, and the transformed elements such as form are also the objects perceived by other sense faculties. Because the elements and the things transformed from the elements that exist in one assembly exist in the same place and direction, they can also be called non-different similarity and mixed similarity. In the 'Collection of Ascertainments,' it also says: Assemblies such as flowers and fruits are common to be enjoyed by all sense faculties, therefore, the elements and the transformed particles of these assemblies are said to be established in non-different locations due to the power of karma. As it is said in the sutra: Why do obstructed phenomena exist non-differently in one direction and become unobstructed?
