It is established as the object of activity only for consciousness. Some material atoms are the object of activity only for consciousness, while others also become the object of activity for sense consciousness. For example, the five senses such as the eye, and the atoms that exist as material substances of the dharma-sphere, and the atoms of the five objects such as form, are in that order. Here, if "atoms of the eye" and "atoms of form" etc. occur, then is the eye the nature of accumulated atoms of the eye? Similarly, is form also the nature of accumulated atoms of form? Or what will it become? If there is no difference from those who claim that external objects are established as real entities, why wouldn't it become that way? If one accepts that the atoms of the eye etc. are composite forms of the eye etc. created by real entities, then that fault would become so. However, since we do not accept that, there is no fault. Why? Because here, the substance of the eye sense is called the atom of the eye sense. Similarly, the substance of form is called the atom of form. According to the view of those who speak of meaning, they do not accept that the form etc. is created by those atoms. If the gross objects such as the eye are called atoms, how can that be? The composite forms, external and internal, are the nature of the accumulated atoms of material substances such as the eye and form. Therefore, the eye etc. are atoms and parts in relation to the aggregates. The coarse form of what is called the completely imputed is twofold: that which arises and that which is transformed from arising. The arising is the four, earth and so on, and that which is transformed from arising is the five senses, eye and so on, the five objects, form and so on, and the forms included in the dharma-sphere, which will be explained in detail in the scriptures. Why are earth and so on called arising? Because they are the source of arising of the forms of the fruit. Why are they the source of arising of the forms of the fruit? Because they perform five kinds of causes, namely:

It is for the cause of producing and depending, existing and relying, and growing. Are the external and internal forms not produced from their respective seed causes? If not, how can they arise from the elements? Although it is not true, as long as the elements do not arise from their own seeds, the forms transformed from the elements will also not arise from their own seeds. When the elements arise from their own seeds, the forms transformed from the elements will also arise from their own seeds. Therefore, it is said that the forms transformed from the elements arise from the elements. The elements press as much as they do, and the transformed forms also press as much. Because there is no power for the transformed forms to separately press the place after excluding the elements, the elements are the support of the transformed forms. Because the benefits and harms to the elements will become the benefits and harms to the transformed forms that depend on them, the elements are the cause of existence. Because the elements do not perish, the transformed forms that depend on them will not perish, so the elements are the cause of manifestation. When sleep, food, celibacy, and samadhi, etc., cause the elements to increase, the transformed forms that depend on them will increase, so the elements are the cause of growth. Thus, because the elements perform five kinds of actions on the transformed forms, the elements are called the form of cause, and the transformed forms are called the form of effect, and it is said that the form of effect arises from the elements as the cause. The elements and the transformed forms that exist in one aggregate exist with their own characteristics separate and unmixed, because each sense consciousness perceives them in different ways. The places are not different, but are mixed and exist in one place, just like various substances are glued together and mixed with water. Thus, the elements and the transformed forms, those who are the same as themselves and the group, exist without hindrance to each other because they are in the same place. When oneself exists, the elements and transformed forms of other groups
