Those who point the way are the Hearers and so on, and the common vehicle's treatises, while the Great Vehicle Compendium is solely for pointing the way of the Bodhisattva, therefore it is the uncommon treatise of the Great Vehicle, this is what is to be explained. Therefore, to speak in that way without distinguishing between vehicle and tenet, is like vowing to openly declare one's own lack of ability to accurately explain the meaning of the ocean-like Great Vehicle scriptures that we possess. In this way, according to the Mind-Only school, there are three kinds of form: the completely imputed form, the nominally designated form, and the perfectly established form. The first is the colored object that appears in the minds of children, and the mind's clinging to form as colored according to how it appears. The second is the non-veridical complete imputation included in that appearance, the pure worldly realm. The third is the suchness of the emptiness of the completely imputed form, the object of non-conceptual wisdom. Therefore, this treatise and the aggregates of form as established in the Yogacara school should be understood as referring to the completely imputed form. Among these, the completely imputed form is divided into two: atoms and gross matter. The first is merely the analysis of what appears as gross matter by the mind, and the establishment of it as the smallest extreme, but it does not exist as a substance. As it is said in the Yogacarabhumi: "Atoms are merely the limit of measurement completely divided by the mind." And in the Samgraha-viniscaya it is also said: "The nature of atoms is because it is completely divided and established by wisdom." Like this. Atoms are also of two kinds. One is established by the mind after analyzing gross matter, and the other is called substantial atoms. With regard to the first, in the Samgraha-viniscaya it says: "The limit of dividing form is merely the establishment of atoms by completely dividing it with the mind, but it is not from the form of the body, therefore atoms will not arise or cease, and the aggregation of atoms is not the accumulation of form." This is what is said. With regard to the second

Even if done in this way, it is from that very treatise. In that, from the perspective of detailed differentiation and establishment, there are five types of subtle particles of the sense faculties such as the eye, five types of subtle particles of objects such as forms, four types of subtle particles of the four great elements such as earth, and one subtle particle that belongs to the sphere of phenomena and exists as a material substance. Thus it is explained. Furthermore, in that very treatise, it is said that if, from the initial perspective, one thinks that subtle particles are substantially existent, there will be five faults; and if one establishes subtle particles as merely imputed, there will also be five benefits. As follows: Thinking that subtle particles exist with their own characteristics in the aggregate of forms; thinking that subtle particles arise and cease; thinking that subtle particles meet and separate from other subtle particles; thinking that aggregates of forms are merely a state of accumulated subtle particles; and thinking that a collection of subtle particles gives rise to coarse, other objects. These five are improper ways of thinking about subtle particles. When the essence of the aggregate of forms as subtle particles is completely dissected by wisdom, one abandons the notion of grasping it as a single whole, abandons the view of the perishable collection as its cause, abandons the pride of "I," pacifies the afflictions such as attachment that rely on them, and the characteristics of the grasped and the grasper quickly disintegrate. This is the benefit of establishing subtle particles after thoroughly analyzing coarse objects with wisdom. Among them, the initial subtle particle merely exists as an imputation and does not actually arise or cease. However, the subtle particles of substances mostly become objects of the senses without depending on others, and therefore they are also substantially existent. The initial one is also without parts, while the second one is with parts. Aggregates of forms are not the nature of accumulated initial subtle particles, but should be understood as the nature of accumulated subtle particles of substances such as earth. Therefore, the initial subtle particle is merely established by conceptual thought, and because it does not abide in place or direction, it is not perceived in the internal and external aggregates of forms, while the subtle particles of substances do abide in the aggregates of forms, and this should be understood. In this way, the initial subtle particle
