Based on the differences explained, the differences between the minds and mental factors that rely on the remaining four senses should also be understood. The ālaya-vijñāna and the afflicted mind, as well as the mind's consciousness, only completely determine the nature of their respective objects. Because there is no difference from the consciousnesses of the senses, it is inferred from the sign of self and other being indistinguishable. The characteristics of the ālaya-vijñāna and the afflicted mind are established below based on the scriptures. Thus, the differences between mind and mental factors are only within the realm of those wise ones who are sharp and subtle like the tip of a kuśa grass of wisdom. Because one should follow and understand the subtle and subtle reasons like what I have said. The activity of coarse wisdom is not the object of experience in any way. As it says in the commentary on the Abhidharmakośa: The distinctions between mind and mental factors are so subtle that it is difficult to analyze even the constant phenomena for a while, what need is there to mention the momentary phenomena? etc. Secondly, the nature of the dhātus is divided into three types: the nature of the dhātus of sense organs, objects, and consciousnesses. The first question is: What is the eye-dhātu? The answer is: This first shows the meaning of the dhātu that holds the near use. The past eye that saw the forms, and the present eye that sees the forms, these are held from the perspective of the near use of the eye-consciousness, having been completed and being held, so it is called the eye-dhātu. These two are both the eye and the dhātu of the eye, so the eye-dhātu is combined as the same entity. The future eye is not mentioned because it is not certain whether it will hold the near use. Showing the meaning of the dhātu with the seed is: From the accumulated seed of the eye, the eye will be accomplished in the future, now existing in the nature of ability, and from the vipāka ālaya-vijñāna, the eye has now been accomplished, these are also called the eye-dhātu. Because it holds the manifested eye as the result. Therefore, these dhātus related to the eye are called the eye-dhātu. The remaining five are also applicable. The nature of the eye-dhātu

So, for manifestation, just as it is said that there are two kinds of past and present, and two kinds of seeds that will be accomplished and have already been accomplished, so too, between the nature of the mind realm (Sanskrit: manodhātu), it should be viewed in the same way, that is: the dharmas that are known by the mind, and those that are being known and have already been known, and the accumulation of its seeds, and also the Alaya consciousness of maturation, this is the nature of the mind realm. Up to here. For the nature of the object realm, there are also two kinds as before, first is the nature of the form realm: the past forms that have been seen by the eye, and the present forms that are seen by the eye, these are all the near use of eye consciousness, because they are being grasped and have already been grasped through the door of the object, or rather, for that form, what the eye realm dominates is called the form realm. Why is it said that the eye realm dominates it? Just as a shadow appears when an umbrella is opened, when the inner senses are accomplished, due to its power, the outer objects naturally arise, therefore it is said that the eye dominates the form. Why is it said that the object is accomplished through the power of the senses? If there is no object that needs to be fully observed, then the accomplishment of the senses as functionaries is meaningless. Due to the power of karma, the object is accomplished through the power of the senses. Connecting the remaining five, just as the nature of the form realm is shown in terms of time, so too, for the nature of the dharma realm, it should be viewed in the same way, that is: the dharma that is known by the mind, and those that are being known and have already been known, and what the mind realm dominates. Up to here. Here, the seed is not mentioned when showing the object realm, because Khache Yeshe Gyalpo said one beginning and two ends, thinking that it was implied so he did not say it, it is not that he does not acknowledge the seed of the object, because the Alaya consciousness is the collection of all seeds. Others say that the object is accomplished through the power of the senses, therefore there is no seed of the object apart from the seed of the senses, so it was not mentioned. For the nature of the consciousness realm, there are also two kinds, first is the nature of the eye consciousness realm: the near use of one's own
