of knowledge, as well as the knowledge of higher seeing, and the knowledge of non-conceptualization. Regarding the first, it is said: Bodhisattvas who have attained mastery, and yogis as well, through the power of faith, objects such as earth, appear as such. As it is said, those who wish to manifest earth and other things as real, such as yogis who have attained mastery and bodhisattvas, how they believe in gold and the sky, etc., it transforms accordingly, therefore earth and other things are not established as only real, this is the meaning. Regarding the second, it is said: In this, the ability to distinguish and establish, those with wisdom who have attained peace, when contemplating all dharmas, the meaning does not appear as such. What is said is like this: For the sons of the Buddha who are familiar with tranquility and insight, when contemplating all internal and external dharmas as mere expressions of the mind, they appear only as such, but the meaning does not appear at all. Regarding the third, it is said: When the non-conceptual wisdom wanders, because all meanings do not appear, one should understand that meaning is empty, because without it, there is no knower. This is what is said. The meaning of this is: If meaning were truly established, it would appear in non-conceptual wisdom, because it is the object of reality. However, meaning does not appear in non-conceptual wisdom, because it is distinguished by the extinction of dualistic grasping. Thus, meaning is not established, therefore the clinging that depends on it is also not truly established. One should understand it in this way. These verses come from the Compendium of the Great Vehicle. How is it through complete understanding? It is because of truly knowing the characteristics, distinctions, and establishments as they are. How is it through abandonment? It is through the transformation of the positions of the Hearers and the Great Vehicle. Among them, the transformation of the position of the Hearers is liberation from the bonds of the objects of the aggregates, elements, and sources, but not the attainment of mastery. The transformation of the position of the Great Vehicle is liberation from the bonds of objects, and the attainment of mastery over objects as desired.

Both will change. The objective condition has been explained. After that, taking up the explanation of the dominant condition, it was said, "What is the dominant condition like?" Regarding that, what controls the support is: the wind mandala and so on control the support of the water mandala and so on, so it is the dominant condition. Similarly, the vessel world is for sentient beings; the elements are for those transformed from the elements; the faculties are for the consciousnesses. And so on, it should be understood accordingly. What controls the projection is: the common karma of sentient beings controls the projection of the vessel world, so it is the dominant condition. Similarly, karma with outflows controls the projection of maturation, and so on, it should be combined accordingly. What controls simultaneous arising is: the mind controls the simultaneous arising of mental factors, so it is the dominant condition. Similarly, attention is of the mind, contact is of feeling, and so on. What controls the object is: the six faculties, eye and so on, because by the power of the faculties, the object is established. What controls birth is: the male and female faculties, because by their power, birth in the womb is established. What controls abiding is: the life faculty, because by its power, similar beings abide. What controls the enjoyment of the fruit is: the five feeling faculties, because by their power, one enjoys the maturation of virtue and non-virtue, such as joy and suffering. What controls worldly purification is: the five faculties of faith and so on, because by their power, one becomes free from desire from the desire realm and so on, and from desirelessness. What controls transmundane purification is: the three, the unknown to be known faculty, the known faculty, and the fully known faculty, because by their power, having abandoned all that is to be abandoned by seeing and meditation, one enjoys the bliss of liberation. The extensive explanation of the four conditions has been completed. Second, explaining the nature of the same support and that which is similar to it: Regarding that, the meaning of support and similarity is this: the faculties, eye and so on.
