Furthermore, because of attachment to and non-separation from the body, including the internal sense organs, it is called fully associated with form. Other than that, one aspect of the aggregates, etc., is: the desire realm and the formless realm, and those who have abandoned the uncontaminated. Merely because of separation from desire in the desire realm, and knowing the completely distinguished form and the Dharma that is fully associated with it, one abandons the manifest clinging to that self. The formless realm and the formless realm that is fully associated with it are the separation from desire for form, starting from the sphere of infinite space. The virtue with outflows and the unspecified, which are the separation from desire for the formless realm, are internal names. Because of attachment to the four aggregates alone, it is regarded as fully associated with the formless realm. The four aggregates are the abandonment of the form aggregate. One aspect of the lower three realms and the lower two sense bases are the lower two realms and those who have abandoned the uncontaminated. Because of knowing the formless Dharma that is separated from desire for form, one abandons the manifest clinging to that self. Secondly, regarding the classification of detachment, there are two types: divided into five and divided into ten. The first is, "detachment itself," and so on. Among them, from a part and from all, detachment is: from the perspective of the ground, from the abandonment of any one aspect of affliction, up to the abandonment of the eighth aspect, and from the perspective of detachment from the view of the perishable collection, if it is the abandonment of the learners, these are called detachment from a part, because it is detachment with remaining to be abandoned. From the perspective of the ground, any ground that has abandoned the ninth aspect of affliction, and from the perspective of detachment from the view of the perishable collection, if it is the abandonment of the non-learners, it is called detachment from all, because it is the abandonment without remainder of what should be abandoned. The detachment of realization is the abandonment of what has been abandoned by seeing with the path of seeing, because it is the Dharma nature that was not previously realized, and is newly realized, thus being detached from what should be abandoned. The detachment of suppression is detachment through the worldly path, because it only temporarily prevents the afflictions to be abandoned from arising, but does not uproot them.

It is because of this. To be completely free from desire is what is abandoned by the transcendent path, because it uproots the seeds of what is to be abandoned. The second division into ten is that natural detachment from desire is: whatever arises, one wants to be separated from it, the feeling of suffering that arises naturally, and the dharma of the place from which that feeling arises, objects that are unpleasant, etc., whatever one does not accept or agree with, that is not caused by the power of relying on antidotes, but arises naturally. Detachment from desire through harm is: when two unite, after engaging in intercourse, one is temporarily separated from the suffering of sexual desire and feels aversion to intercourse. This is because harm has been done to the body, including the senses, and therefore, through its power, aversion to it arises temporarily. Detachment from desire through dependence is: after eating one's fill, one temporarily feels aversion even to delicious food, because it arises from the cause of dependence, which has nourished the senses. Detachment from desire through excellence is: when one attains a very great means, such as the status of a universal monarch, one feels aversion to lesser means, such as the status of a king with a staff. Detachment from desire through ignorance is: children do not feel aversion to nirvana, which is the cessation of compounded things, because they do not know that it is peace, and because they are attached to the aggregates, they do not know that samsara is suffering. Detachment from desire through antidotes is: relying on some antidote, and abandoning one's own afflictions, etc., which are to be abandoned by the transcendent path. Detachment from desire through complete knowledge is: when one attains the path of seeing, one becomes disgusted with the three realms because one knows that they are all suffering of conditioned existence, and one feels aversion to them. Detachment from desire through abandonment is: whatever is the complete abandonment of afflictions in each of the three realms, such as the desire realm, and whatever aversion one feels towards that place and that realm. Detachment from desire that includes the higher realms is: the worldly
