The so-called "is the action" is the difference. If one knows that the discriminator is the consciousness of the senses, etc., then one can abandon the attachment to the seer, the hearer, etc., and manifest as the discriminator of objects. Third, what should be realized is the realm of the six superknowledges. That is, knowing that one can travel to all accessible places such as the sky is the superknowledge of magical power; hearing all the subtle and coarse sounds of various beings is the superknowledge of the divine ear; knowing the minds of others, including the realms of minds with and without desire, is the superknowledge of knowing the minds of others; knowing one's own and others' past lives, continuing from one life to another, is the superknowledge of remembering past lives; knowing where one's own and others' future lives will be born is the knowledge of death and birth or the superknowledge of the divine eye; and knowing as they are what methods can definitely lead to liberation from the three realms and what is definite liberation is the superknowledge of the exhaustion of outflows. Because these are their respective realms, they are what should be realized. Among them, the realm of magical power, if asked: What is the nature of the realization that knows it? The answer is: being able to transform one into many, being able to transform many into one, being able to make the existent disappear, being able to make the non-existent appear, etc., are the realms of magical power. The wisdom that possesses the power to reveal these realms as they are, the result obtained through cultivation, is called the realization of knowing the realm of magical power. In addition, this magical power is sometimes obtained by birth, sometimes produced from meritorious deeds, sometimes produced from the power of mantras and medicines, and sometimes produced from the power of samadhi. The first is the magical power of the gods of the desire and form realms, as well as that of the pretas and flesh-eating ghosts. The second is like that of King Rama. The third is walking in the sky by the power of mantras, and walking in the sky and becoming invisible after taking certain medicines, etc. The fourth is the power of the yogis, which is realization.

It is included in the category called excellence. What is divine ear? What is the direct perception of divine ear? Answer: It arises from the power of meditating on samadhi, a form included in the realm of equipoise, and hearing all subtle and coarse sounds, both grasped and ungrasped, is called divine ear. The wisdom that arises in the cycle of sense consciousness based on this is called the direct perception of divine ear. Divine ear is also of three types: born with it, arising from karma, and arising from cultivation. The first is that of the gods who dwell in the form realm. The second is like that of a universal monarch and a bodhisattva who is the last of existence. The third is the magical power of yogis, which is listed as direct perception. What are the distinctions of others' minds? What is the direct perception of knowing them like? Answer: Others' minds, such as those with attachment and without attachment, are called the distinctions of mind. The wisdom that focuses on this, endowed with power, which is the fruit of cultivation, is called the direct perception of knowing others' minds. Knowing others' minds is also of several types: born with it, arising from karma, that of logicians, arising from mantras, and arising from cultivation. The first is that of some gods and others. The second is that of some pretas and flesh-eaters and others. The third is knowing the changes in others' minds from the forms of body and speech. The fourth is knowing from the power of some secret mantras. The fifth is that of yogis, which is listed as direct perception. What is past abode? What is the direct perception of remembering it? Answer: The many distinctions of the bodies of oneself and others in past lives are called past abode. Just as one remembers a dream when waking up, the wisdom that remembers the past abode as it was previously experienced, arising from the power of cultivation, is called the direct perception of remembering past abode. Regarding the remembrance of past abode, there are also three types: born with it, arising from karma, and arising from cultivation. The first is that of the gods of the desire realm and hell beings. The second is that of humans naturally remembering past lives.
