Because it has been explained that form can be established by examining external objects, it is said to be "established." Second, regarding the nature of the feeling aggregate, the question is "feeling," etc. The answer is: The nature of feeling is experience. Here, does the meaning of experience refer to external objects or to self-experience? If both are referred to, then all minds and mental factors will become feelings. If it is not these two, it is also unreasonable, because there is nothing other than oneself or external objects that can be experienced by consciousness. If someone asks: Although the Vaibhashikas believe that what is experienced is the image of touch, what is the nature of experience here? It refers to the ripening of the fruits of good and non-good deeds produced by contaminated karma, experiencing joy, suffering, and whatever is not both, each separately and without mixing, which is considered the meaning of experience. The object of experience, that is, the nature of the ripened joy, suffering, and neutral states, is not something different from the experiencer's feeling. If according to the first view, why don't other consciousnesses that are the same as feeling and object experience it? Why is only feeling considered to be experience? If according to the second view, it is contradictory for oneself to act on oneself, so it is unreasonable, if you think like this. Because yogis who focus on the suffering of other beings will also experience the joy and suffering in the minds of other beings, the former view is not accepted. Therefore, it is said that the experiencer itself arises as the nature of joy and suffering, and by what means is this said to be the nature of experience. In the Commentary on Valid Cognition, it is also said: The object is similar to things and things that are similar, self-manifestation is self-experience. Therefore, other minds and mental factors are not experiences, because they have not arisen as the nature of joy and suffering. Because it is believed that what arises as the aspect of joy and suffering, etc., is experience. If you say, isn't it also because of the power of external objects that some feelings of pleasure and pain arise? Then, why is it said that experiencing the ripening of karma is feeling? That is indeed the case, but it is thought that feeling is mainly experiencing the ripening. Or, in order to eliminate the doubt that experiencing external objects or touch, etc., is feeling, it is said that experiencing the ripening. In order to eliminate the doubt that joy and suffering, etc., are experienced by one experiencer, it is said separately. Third, regarding the nature of the aggregate of discrimination, the question is "discrimination."
