Realizing the equality of all phenomena is the antidote to clinging to the characteristics of acceptance and rejection in samsara and nirvana. Realizing the ultimate single Great Vehicle is the antidote to clinging to the different lineages of the causes of the Three Vehicles. Completely knowing that the phenomena of name and form are unborn is the antidote to clinging to the aggregates. Comprehending the forbearance of realizing the profound Dharma of emptiness is the antidote to clinging to the realms. Thoroughly revealing all knowable objects encompassed by the internal and external sense bases through the means of the Great Vehicle, without duality of grasper and grasped, is the antidote to clinging to the sense bases. Cutting off all conceptual thoughts is the antidote to abiding in the three realms with incorrect conceptualizations. And the absence of incorrect mental activity and the view of the perishable aggregate, which clings to characteristics such as purity and happiness, and the subsequent clinging to extremes, wrong views, holding to distorted ethics as supreme, and holding to views as supreme, i.e., wrong views. Abandoning the three afflictions such as desire is the antidote to clinging to desire. Because from clinging to characteristics through incorrect mental activity, views of the perishable aggregate and so on, and desires and so on, arise, thereby causing attachment to the three realms. Therefore, these three are the same Dharma. Meditating on single-pointed calm abiding focused on benefiting others is the antidote to the mind becoming discouraged in benefiting sentient beings. The wisdom that realizes ultimate emptiness, and the skillful means of not abandoning conventional appearances, is the antidote to clinging to the view of the Buddha. Pacifying the mind by meditating on the selflessness of phenomena is the antidote to clinging to the Dharma. Relying on the two truths, the unobstructed wisdom regarding the suchness and extent of form and so on is the antidote to clinging to the Sangha. Obtaining the wisdom that is not a place of clinging to anything is the antidote to the clinging to ethics and morality. In order to thoroughly discriminate the Dharma, going simultaneously to all Buddha fields as desired is the antidote to disputing emptiness. For the sake of liberating the sentient being realms that cling to objects of focus, manifesting oneself in all ways in accordance with those to be tamed is called refuting contradictions.

It is the antidote to clinging. Thus, in order to actually abandon the antidote, through these twenty kinds of complete purification, one can also realize the seventh bhumi. This is also realized through the realization of non-objectification, as before. The word "also" indicates not only before, but to show that both before and after are methods of complete purification. Regarding the eighth bhumi, the first of the root verse and commentary is: Knowing the minds of all sentient beings. The sutra says: The great Bodhisattva abiding in the eighth bhumi should perfect these four dharmas. What are the four? Namely: Knowing the minds of all sentient beings, etc. It also says: One should perfect the four dharmas, etc. Separating the two sets of four is to understand that whichever is abandoned, it is its complete purification, as stated in the "Sunlight Commentary." The second is: With the wisdom of knowing the minds of others, one knows the behavior of the minds of all sentient beings to be tamed, such as attachment and non-attachment, as they are; in order to offer to all Buddhas in all realms of the world and to tame sentient beings, transforming one into many, many into one, etc., with love through the wisdom of miraculous powers; completely dedicating the roots of virtue to that, completely transforming the Buddha-field into the nature of gold and lapis lazuli, etc.; in order to inquire about the meaning of doubts about the words and meanings of the Dharma in all aspects, making the Buddhas happy with the service of body, speech, and mind; "completely established" does not match the root verse, so the translation is not appropriate. Generating pure divine eyes; relying on the Buddha-field of the self-Buddha, completely purifying the faults of sentient beings such as hunger, thirst, and afflictions; at all times, abiding as an illusion without manifest clinging; wherever one takes birth, seeing the meaning of the higher realms and definite goodness of all sentient beings, manifesting wisdom and taking the birth of a wheel-turning king, etc., like this, through eight kinds of complete purification, it is called the eighth bhumi. Why is it called the Immovable Bhumi? Because it does not move with two kinds of thought. The Immovable
