Therefore, it is for the sake of entering into instructions and so on. Secondly, regarding the other's sound, proper attention, and its result—right view, the first of these three is: in order to perfect the noble Dharma through that bodhicitta, to obtain the qualities not yet obtained, and for the qualities already obtained not to decline and to increase, the instructions that teach the ten objects. The second is: having ascertained the meaning of the instructions through hearing and thinking, becoming accustomed to it in a focused manner, thereby realizing the Four Noble Truths, and being in accordance with the part of the path of seeing, which is the transcendental wisdom that clearly distinguishes the Four Noble Truths, the four stages that become the cause: heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme Dharma. The third is the right view: it is practicing through the nature of the six perfections. This must also be determined through four ways: namely, whose support it is, what the object of focus is, for what purpose, and what the nature of the practice itself is. The first is: the six internal sense bases of the Bodhisattva, which are the basis of practice, are the nature of the Dharmadhatu and the two. And the objects of the thirteen kinds of Dharma, such as virtue, which are like illusions. The third is: for what purpose the Bodhisattva enters into practice, it is the purpose of the nature of the three great ones. The fourth is: in order not to be tainted by the non-conducive aspects of the six perfections, thinking that one is fully practicing the six perfections within each perfection, this is armor; like armor, diligently combining all the Mahayana Dharmas that are cause and effect, this is the act of entering; in order to definitely emerge from the non-conducive aspects of the six perfections that have been entered, accumulating the armies of the two accumulations, etc., through accumulating the resources of the army, overcoming the enemy of the four Maras who have not been overcome, these are the practices of definite emergence. The second is: these ten Dharmas are called the omniscient wisdom of the Buddha, through the way of representing the object with the object. In this way, these ten Dharmas, in the manner described above, encompass all the Dharmas that obtain omniscient wisdom, therefore, they are accustomed to in many ways and with many methods, for a long time.

Therefore, in the manner of "Its faults and virtues, all become extremely clear," knowing things as they truly are allows one to show them to others accurately and without error. Turning the wheel of Dharma that accurately and without error shows the means of attaining omniscience is what is termed "the all-knowing one" in the world. Third, as previously stated, concerning the means of attaining omniscience, these ten dharmas are neither too many nor can they be reduced, hence the number is fixed at just that. Fourth, the order of these matters, such as generating the mind in the sunlight, is logical. Seeking to generate the mind of enlightenment is for the sake of seeking instructions; abiding in unerring instructions necessarily gives rise to experiences that accord with the decisive aspect; thereafter, the practice to rely on, the object to focus on, the purpose to be achieved, and the practice itself, are four aspects. As it is said. Second, Path-knowledge has two aspects: the nature of the eleven dharmas that reveal path-knowledge, and how it reveals path-knowledge. First, these eleven dharmas can be summarized into two: the cause of path-knowledge and its essence. The first is further divided into two: being free from opposing obstacles and having complete favorable conditions. The first, when other conditions are complete, there are two obstacles to generating the mind of enlightenment: arrogance that assumes self-importance and timidity that belittles oneself. Arrogance that assumes self-importance does not generate the mind of enlightenment because there is no need to seek further excellence. Timidity that belittles oneself also does not generate the courage to pursue excellence, and therefore does not generate the mind of enlightenment. As it is said: "For one who abandons effort with timidity, is there any possibility of escaping poverty?" Thus, both of these obstacles are eliminated by the light of the Tathagata's nature, through the activity of making the light of the ripening results of the gods of the desire and form realms dim. The light of the Tathagata, which arises from accumulating merit for many eons, is more powerful than the gods of the desire and form realms who are arrogant because of their own bodily light.
