The merit of fulfilling vows as they are, such as to attain enlightenment, will arise. Here, in order to obtain the Buddha's approval for one's own vows, the merit of holding great ripening in the future will arise. Here, in order to gain certainty in the meaning of the words of the Prajnaparamita. Regarding faults, etc., obtaining the meaning of the Mother (Prajnaparamita) with great effort is a phenomenon. This is a fault of combination, because it is an obstacle to meditating on combination. The first two sets of ten are to be applied similarly. Any abbot or disciple who has the desire to write the Mother, etc., and anyone who is lazy, is a phenomenon. This is a fault of combination, because the favorable conditions for meditating on combination are incomplete. Regarding what is symbolized by, etc., the three wisdom distinctions are phenomena. They are the agent characteristics of combination, etc., because that combination symbolizes the cause of the arising of the Buddha. The sixteen natures are phenomena. They are the action characteristics of combination, because they are to be symbolized by the three wisdom distinctions. The three aggregates for the sixteen wisdom aspects of this occasion such as the Tathagata are phenomena. They are the wisdom aspects of the combination of the three wisdoms, because the combination of the three wisdoms is the part of realization that comprehends the suchness of the basis, path, and aspect. Knowing that the Tathagata arises from the Mother through the combination of the base wisdom, apply "through the combination of the base wisdom" to everything. Knowing that the world of the five aggregates is without fear in the ultimate truth, knowing that the mind of sentient beings is free from elaboration in the ultimate truth, knowing that when the mind is gathered inward it is unborn in the ultimate truth, knowing that when the mind is scattered outward it is unborn, knowing the aspect of the inexhaustible mind, knowing the mind with and without desire, knowing the mind to be vast, knowing the mind to be great, knowing the mind to be immeasurable, knowing the mind to be un-demonstrable, knowing the mind to be without support, knowing that the mind's movement, etc., is unborn, knowing that movement, etc., is the aspect of suchness, and the Tathagata knowing suchness and showing and indicating it to others, all these are phenomena. They are the wisdom characteristics of the combination of the base wisdom, because the combination of the base wisdom is the part of realization that comprehends the suchness of the base.

Regarding emptiness and so on, the nature of the dharmas combined with the path-knowing wisdom, such as knowing emptiness, is a dharma. It is a characteristic of the wisdom combined with the path-knowing wisdom, because the path-knowing wisdom is a part of the realization that understands the suchness of the path. That is, on the dharmic supports of self, etc., the Tathagata, combined with the all-knowing wisdom, relies on the dharmas that please him, and happily abides in the visible dharma, knowing, etc., is a dharma. It is a characteristic of the wisdom combined with the all-knowing wisdom, because the all-knowing wisdom is a part of the realization that understands the suchness. Regarding speaking, knowing, doing, and manifesting, the all-knowing wisdom combines with the meaning of generating the wisdom of hearing and thinking for the disciples of the Mother, and knows that the world is spoken of as emptiness. And for the sake of generating the meditation-born in the world, it knows that the world is known as emptiness. And for the sake of generating the meditation-born beyond the world, it makes the world see emptiness, etc., as dharmas, according to the aforementioned reason. Regarding the inconceivable, etc., the sixteen distinctions mentioned here are dharmas. They are the distinguishing characteristics of the combination of path-knowing wisdom and all-knowing wisdom, because they are the means of showing that they are superior to the combination of hearers and solitary realizers. From the inconceivable to the transcendent, the bodhisattva's path of seeing, the forbearance of the dharma of suffering, is a dharma. It is superior to the forbearance of the dharma of suffering of the path of seeing of hearers and solitary realizers, because it is the nature of the truth of suffering, inconceivable, and the aspect of wisdom that newly realizes what was never before. The three moments of the later instant are dharmas. They are superior to the three moments of hearers and solitary realizers, because the nature of the truth of suffering is unequal, and the aspect of wisdom that newly realizes what is beyond measure and number. And so on can be applied. Regarding the noble one who gathers all, etc., the four forbearances of the dharma of arising of the path of seeing of the bodhisattva are dharmas. They are superior to the four of hearers and solitary realizers, because they gradually gather all the qualities of the three noble ones, and are realized by the wise beings of the Great Vehicle.
