If it is said that sound is not everything, then, the word that sound alone is not everything, has the property. You merely saying that sound alone is not everything, by this does not make sound become non-everything, because, the so-called everything, only does not include hearing itself, but it does not prevent sound from being everything. If sound is not everything, then, knowable has the property. The difference of non-sound, is not all everything, because, if sound is not everything, then, whatever sound is not everything, the difference of non-sound is everything, this situation must not exist. If like the second situation, it is set as a reason, then sound is established as a reason, and sound has been proposed as a reason, therefore, knowable has the property. The property sound, cannot be established as the proof that sound itself is permanent, because, the thing that is proposed as the reason for establishing itself, which is different from the property itself and without difference, is not established as the knower reason itself, because, knowable and knower must be different. If it is said that, because in ultimate reality, the difference between dharma and the possessor of dharma does not exist for all things, so like establishing sound as impermanent by the made, all the reasons of self-nature have the fault of the base, sign, and dharma being non-different, then, knowable has the property. The base, sign, and dharma of establishing sound as impermanent by the made are not non-different, because, the base, sign, and dharma of establishing it have the difference of being different. However, the conventional things of sound, made, impermanent, etc. that appear to the intellect, have the property. In ultimate reality, the negation of their that and non-that, that is, not established, because, if they are analyzed by reason in ultimate reality, they are not established as things that appear to the intellect. If in ultimate reality, the difference between dharma and the possessor of dharma, such as sound, made, impermanent, etc., cannot be established as that and non-that, then, how are the terms of measurable and measuring applied? The terms of sound, made, impermanent, measurable and measuring meaning exist, this has the property. It is not dependent on the terms of the difference between dharma and the possessor of dharma that are established in ultimate reality, because, the dependence on the difference between dharma and the possessor of dharma that are established in the knowledge of the intellect is merely conceptual imputation. If the terms of the difference between dharma and the possessor of dharma depend on the appearing object of the intellect.

If so, how can it be established without deceiving its own character? The statement that sound is produced, impermanent, etc., which differentiates between dharma and dharmin, although dependent on the appearing object of conceptualization, can be established without deceiving its own character. Because, you are the basis of the conceptual consciousness that has the ultimate own-character of sound, which is different in nature, that is, the opposite of unmade, permanent, etc., and appears as sound being produced, impermanent, etc., as different dharma and dharmin. Thus, although the signs of nature, sign and the signed are different, when establishing sound as permanent, the sound is established as a sign, here it is the dharmin, shown as an unestablished sign. Because, the opposite of the dharmin established by the terms of conceptualization is made the establishing sign itself. The general meaning of sign and dharmin is unrelated to the appearance in the discriminating wisdom, that is, it does not appear. If that is the case, then using effort-born to prove that effort-born sound is impermanent, is that also a proof where a part of the general meaning of the vow is established as a sign? If the base and sign are not different, then there is the fault of non-difference, so there is no such fault. For example, effort-born sound is the subject, it is impermanent, because it is effort-born, when it is established like this, effort-born is the subject, the sign and the signed that establish it are different, and it is not the case that the unestablished, where a part of the meaning of the vow that establishes it is established as a sign. Effort-born sound is your particular, you are the general meaning of effort-born sound, therefore you and effort-born sound are different because the two are different in dharma-reverse. It is like setting an example with something that has an example. Furthermore, you are a part of what establishes it, a branch of the object to be established, that is, a distinguishing dharma, but you are not an unestablished that is no different from dharma, because your establishment of what it establishes is not hindered by valid cognition. For example, this right-sided horned lump is the subject, it is not a horse, because it has horns, just like that. Effort-born is the distinguishing dharma of the effort-born sound as the subject, or the effort-born sound is the homogeneous dharma that establishes impermanence, or you are what establishes it, at the time of measuring by inference.
