Because, relying on it, in the continuum of the viewer, the certainty arises that "I have seen forms and heard sounds." Therefore, the object experienced by the knowledge that manifests things is the very nature of that knowledge, and that knowledge is not the experiencer of some other things to be experienced. If that knowledge is not experienced by other knowledge, then the knowledge that appears as blue and other things is knowledge, and what is it that is manifestly, individually cognized, and experienced by that knowledge? The knowledge that appears as blue and other things, has the characteristic of dharma, appearing as blue and other things, is not known by others, because what appears as blue and other things is its own, that is, its own nature. Therefore, the knowable, has the characteristic of dharma, the experience of the knowledge that manifests things has no other, because there is no external thing other than knowledge. That knowledge also has no experiencer, because even if the grasper and the grasped of knowledge truly exist, the fault of arguing for the true existence of the external grasper and grasped will occur equally. Therefore, the knowledge that manifests things, has the characteristic of dharma, is self-luminous and cognitive, because it is the knowledge in which the grasper and the grasped do not truly exist. If the knowledge that appears as blue and other things, how is it self-luminous and cognitive? The knowledge that appears as blue and other things, has the characteristic of dharma, although in name it appears as blue and other things, there is no contradiction in experiencing its own nature in reality, because even if it becomes experiencing its own essence in reality, in name it appears to be experiencing blue and other things, because the thing that appears to itself, that thing appears as external blue and other things due to the power of habit. If knowledge cannot know itself, because it is contradictory for oneself to act on oneself. For example, just as the edge of a sword cannot cut itself, and the tip of a finger cannot touch itself. Then, just as the light of a lamp is the nature of being self-luminous. It is extremely bright without having to depend on other illuminators, because one's own essence is considered to be the illuminator, in that way, the wisdom that manifests things, has the characteristic of dharma, is not self-luminous and cognitive in the way that the agent and the object are different, but in the way that it does not need to depend on other illuminators, it is self-luminous and has the ability to cognize. If the knowledge of the appearance of things is

If consciousness is something other than itself, then, the consciousness that manifests blue, in terms of its dharma, it is difficult to agree that it is blue and the feeler-feeled, because it should not become the experiencer-experienced. Because it is something other than being related to blue. If the grasper-grasped are not real, then it is unreasonable for the grasper-grasped to appear as different entities in consciousness. Although the grasper-grasped are not real in the ultimate sense, in the conventional sense, there is no fault in establishing them as they appear in the delusion tainted by ignorance, which is what is to be explained. The consciousness that manifests objects, in terms of its dharma, although in the ultimate sense, the knower-known, i.e., the aspect of the grasper-grasped, is not real, but even so, it should not become the grasper-grasped as different entities, if you say so, then, it is not to be argued that the characteristics or nature of the grasper and the grasped appear as different entities. The reason is that, when, for those whose characteristics or nature are distinguished as different entities of the grasper-grasped, how the children tainted by the imprints of ignorance are seen by the consciousness of the delusion of ignorance, just as that, the establishment of the different entities of the grasper-grasped is done at that time, therefore. For example, for the consciousness of the appearance of hair, etc., disturbed by cataracts, although there is no difference in the three, grasper, grasped, and consciousness, it is just as it appears. Explaining the result of the valid cognition of the Mind-Only school: Since consciousness does not realize external objects, therefore, the consciousness that manifests objects, in terms of its dharma, should be accepted as self-awareness being the result of valid cognition, because it is the consciousness that does not realize external objects that are different from itself. If consciousness experiences external objects, what fault would there be? Why should one prevent external objects and establish self-awareness as the result? We have no fault, but since it is unreasonable for consciousness to know external objects in terms of reasoning, we say that self-awareness is the result. Furthermore, what meaning does the term "consciousness experiences external objects" express? If asked how consciousness knows external objects? If the answer is that the mind is the aspect of things like blue, etc., therefore it knows external objects, then, the eye consciousness that manifests blue, in terms of its dharma, although you have the aspect of things like blue, etc., following it, but just by that, things like blue, etc., will not become the object of your grasping, because you yourself become blue, etc.
