It is not contradictory to say that. If the self-nature of a certain phenomenon is not cognized by a valid means of cognition, then the knowledge, expression, name, and meaningful application of the certainty of the existence of that phenomenon will not occur, because this is pervasive. If the knowledge, expression, name, and meaningful application of the certainty of the existence of that phenomenon occur, then there must first be a cognition of that phenomenon not being cognized by a valid means of cognition. If someone asks, why does the reason of the non-cognition of invisible things only prevent the certainty of existence, but cannot establish the certainty of non-existence? The answer is: the object of knowledge, with the reason of the non-cognition of invisible things, can only produce the result of preventing the certainty of existence, but cannot establish the certainty of non-existence. Because, for ordinary people, how can it be pervasively assumed that they do not exist simply because they are not cognized by a valid means of cognition due to reasons such as time and place? This is not pervasive. Establishing the reason: pure treatises, for ordinary people, things related to time and place are unspeakable, because if they exist, there will be the fault of speaking out of season and irrelevant content. Sense perception, those things are beyond the scope of the object you take. Because, that object of knowledge, with the meaning of kalpa-time not being cognized by a valid means of cognition as the basis for establishing in one's own tenet, as the reason for the measure that establishes that the knowledge, expression, and name of the certainty of the existence of kalpa-time are not applicable, it is not contradictory to say so.
