For one who vows to have completely exhausted all defilements, there is no opponent in accordance with the Dharma; this is for oneself. Also, for others, by thoroughly distinguishing through showing the path where the antidote to that obstructing Dharma necessarily arises, therefore, for showing the obstructing Dharma, the aspect of fearlessness is that one tells and shows one's own Shravakas that afflictions such as desire obstruct the path with the three vehicles, and there is no opponent in accordance with the Dharma. In showing the path of liberation, all aspects of fearlessness are knowledge itself, and thoroughly showing that the path, such as knowing the path, necessarily arises in the three Bodhisattvas, there is no opponent in accordance with the Dharma; this is for others. These are fearlessness because they make one unshakeable. The third is the many names of completely defiled and purified dharmas, and the self and common characteristics of dharmas from form to omniscience, and all the different languages of people in different places, and the essence of dharmas, and the samadhi and wisdom that unimpededly enter the realm of infinite kinds of distinctions, are, in order, the four such as correctly knowing each dharma. The fourth is: six summarized by conduct, six summarized by realization, three summarized by activity, and the first of the three summarized by wisdom is: the Tathagata's emanation of body, such as associating with fierce elephants, and the clamor in the speech, such as making noise and horse sounds in dense forests, and forgetting and losing actions, and losing mindfulness such as missing the time, and not keeping the mind calm in all behaviors, and the concept of different acceptance and rejection of samsara and nirvana, and the equanimity of abandoning them without separately examining the place and time, etc., of whether or not the disciples' minds are suitable for engaging in activities, these six are the qualities of abandoning all the faults of body, speech, and mind, so it is the Dharma that makes the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas superior, because the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have the faults of body, speech, and mind that are the opposite of these. The second is that the desire to benefit sentient beings does not diminish at all times, and samsara

Even as long as samsara exists, acting for the benefit of sentient beings, the diligence to go to the place where those to be tamed are located never diminishes; the mindfulness to never forget the means of taming sentient beings never diminishes; the samadhi of equally abiding in the suchness of all dharmas never diminishes; the inexhaustible wisdom of knowing the thoughts and behaviors of sentient beings as they are and teaching the Dharma accordingly never diminishes; even as long as samsara exists, acting for the benefit of sentient beings, the inexhaustible liberation never diminishes. These six are the dharmas of realization that are superior to those of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have not attained these six and therefore possess diminution. Thirdly, taming sentient beings with the four postures is the activity of the body; speaking words that are in accordance with the Dharma and in accordance with the meaning is the activity of speech; love and compassion, etc., are the activities of the mind, generated by wisdom, with wisdom preceding, running together with wisdom, and following wisdom. These three are the dharmas of activity that are superior to those of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because the activities of their body, speech, and mind also arise from non-specified causes. Fourthly, regarding the dharmas of the three times, past, etc., knowing them merely by intention, without attachment, with the wisdom of knowing all aspects without obstruction, these three are the dharmas of wisdom that are superior to those of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because they cannot know all aspects merely by intention. Fifthly, the freedom to abandon life as desired is the freedom of life; entering into samadhi as desired is the freedom of mind; causing resources to be present as desired is the freedom of resources, this is the result of generosity. Accomplishing the activities of body, speech, and mind as desired is the freedom of activity; taking birth as desired for the benefit of sentient beings is the freedom of birth, these two are the results of discipline. Transforming earth, etc., into gold, etc., as desired is the freedom of aspiration, this is the result of patience. Accomplishing as desired is the freedom of aspiration, this is the result of diligence. The magical powers possessed by clairvoyance are the result of meditation. As desired
