The vehicle of mantra is not a path of means, because it is a path other than the Paramita Vehicle. For example, if one thinks it is like the path of the Tirthikas, then both Mantra and Paramita Vehicles, the basis to be ascertained, the emptiness free from elaboration, is of one meaning; the path to be practiced, the non-conceptual wisdom of equipoise, is of one meaning; the fruit to be attained, the non-abiding Nirvana, is of one meaning. Therefore, the vehicle of mantra is not another path. Even so, with four distinctions, the Mantra Vehicle is superior to the Paramita Vehicle, as follows: not being ignorant of the means to realize Suchness, having many means to accomplish the benefit of oneself and others, attaining enlightenment easily without hardship, and the individual who is the basis is considered to be of extremely sharp faculties. First, in the Paramita Vehicle, one sees Suchness on the path of seeing by accumulating merit for countless eons; while in the Vajra Vehicle, at the time of empowerment, the experience of descending wisdom is recognized by the guru, and by applying and cultivating it in the vital points of the inner body, one will see Suchness in this very life. Second, in the Vajra Vehicle, through the four activities and the eight attainments, etc., through many means, one can effortlessly accomplish the benefit of oneself and others in this very life, while in the Paramita Vehicle, there are no such means. Third, in the Vajra Vehicle, one does not need to rely on asceticism and austerities, but through knowing the nature of things, one can freely enjoy desirable objects and attain enlightenment in bliss; while in the Paramita Vehicle, one needs to give away one's head, etc., and cultivate the twelve qualities, etc., and attain enlightenment with difficulty. Fourth, the disciples of the Paramita Vehicle, as long as they have not realized Suchness, if they freely indulge in desirable objects, their afflictions will increase and destroy their continuum, thus they are dull faculties; while the disciples of the Mantra Vehicle, for the first practitioners, even if they freely indulge in desirable objects through knowing the nature of things, it will become a cause of liberation, and will not become a cause of bondage, thus they are extremely sharp faculties. The four that are included by the accomplishment of four meanings in accordance, action, cause, result

Abandoning evil thoughts, striving to do good, being content with desires, and relying on solitary conditions conducive to practice. The first is, the ten virtues, etc. The second is, the three vows, etc. The third is, forms, sounds, smells, tastes, etc. The fourth is, body and mind, etc. These are all very easy to understand, so they are not explained. Explanation of the sixth chapter from "Collected Scriptures". Chapter Seven The third general topic, the fruit to be obtained, has two aspects: general and specific meanings. The first has three aspects: Body, Wisdom, and Activity. The first has two aspects: classification and the nature of each classification. The first is divided into two, three, and four types. The first is: for oneself, it is the Dharmakaya; for others, it is the Rupakaya, summarized into two. In the "Ratnavali" it says: The Rupakaya of the Buddhas arises from the accumulation of merit; the Dharmakaya, in brief, arises from the accumulation of wisdom. And in the "Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning" it says: May all beings, through this virtue, perfect the accumulation of merit and wisdom, and may the two holy ones arising from merit and wisdom be attained. As it is said. The second is: the Rupakaya is divided into Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya, so there are three in total. In the "Ornament for Clear Realization" it says: The body of the Buddhas of the three bodies should be known as the summary of the body. The meaning of the three bodies, for oneself and others, is taught along with the basis. As it is said. In accordance with this, the "Uttaratantra" also says: That division, profound and vast, the qualities of the great self-nature, on the nature of the supreme distinction of Dharma, the three bodies, etc., enter. As it is said. The third is: In the "Explanation of the Secret Meaning" it says: The Sambhogakaya is divided into the enjoyment exclusive to the Buddhas themselves, and the enjoyment of the Mahayana Dharma shared with the Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis, so four types are taught. The first is: the uncontaminated wisdom of the Buddhas. The second is: the Rupakaya of Akanishta. Also, in the "Entering the Middle Way" it says: The body called the causal body, each pore of the Rupakaya shows various emanations, having such a nature, four types are taught. The second, the first of the four, the Svabhavikakaya has three distinctions.
