At that time, even from the consciousness aggregate, one is free from desire, and only focuses on the samadhi of the four name aggregates of one's own realm. The realm of neither perception nor non-perception is: during the application stage, one thinks of perception as disease, sores, and pain, so there is no coarse perception; one thinks of non-perception as complete ignorance, so it is not that there is no subtle perception. During the actual stage, one is free from desire for anything, and only focuses on the samadhi of the four name aggregates of one's own realm, abiding in peace. Those in the formless realms only have neutral feeling. These dhyanas and formless states have two types: one is the single-pointedness of worldly virtue that is free from the afflictions of its own realm, which is pure; the other is the single-pointedness that is defiled by the afflictions of its own realm, which is afflicted. The first has four corresponding parts: the declining corresponding part is the dhyana that corresponds to the arising of afflictions of one's own realm. The abiding corresponding part is the dhyana that neither declines nor progresses to a higher state. The superior corresponding part is the dhyana that corresponds to the arising of the samadhi of a higher realm. The decisive corresponding part is the dhyana that corresponds to the arising of the uncontaminated. As it is said: Pure declining corresponding parts, etc., these four in order are, the arising of afflictions and one's own realm, higher and uncontaminated, corresponding to. Just as it is said. The peak of existence does not have a superior corresponding part, because there is no other realm above it. The afflicted also have four types: those with a greater emphasis on views are the dhyanas that correspond to any of the sixty-two views. Those with a greater emphasis on craving are the dhyanas that correspond to the craving that tastes the pleasure of dhyana. Those with a greater emphasis on pride are the dhyanas that correspond to the pride that is filled with samadhi. The dhyana with a greater emphasis on doubt is the dhyana that corresponds to the doubt of whether the samadhi one has attained is the path to liberation or not. For the formless realms, it should be understood in the same way. Furthermore, among these dhyanas and formless states, there are the dhyanas and formless states that are the cause of meditative absorption, and the dhyanas and formless states that arise as the result, these two.

There is ground. First, it is the function of generating dhyana and formless absorption, together with the corresponding single-pointedness. Second, it is the fruition produced by the causal absorption, and the dhyana and formless absorption included by the fruit of the same cause. Third, examining where these are first produced: the dhyana and formless absorption of equanimity are born in the lower realms such as humans, because they are not born in their own realm or higher realms. The reason for this is that the higher realms do not seek the lower realms, and the self does not observe the aspects of tranquility and roughness. The dhyana and formless absorption born of fruition are born and abide as gods in the form and formless realms. Fourth, examining what is the basis of the path of transcendence: the actual substance of the first dhyana, as well as the proximity of the first dhyana, the particularly excellent substance, and the second, third, and fourth dhyanas above it, these three together are called the six dhyana grounds. These and the first three formless absorptions other than the peak of existence, these nine are said to be the basis of the path of seeing and the path of cultivation beyond the world, because they are the samadhi in which the movement of perception is clear. Those dhyanas and formless absorptions that are included in the path of samsara are called the worldly path. Secondly, regarding the path beyond the world, it is divided into two: the nature of the path and the four truths of the object of focus. The first is that because it has never been familiar with samsara before, it is the path beyond the world. This is because it is obtained by seeing the suchness of the four noble truths, such as suffering. The second is divided into general explanation and separate explanation. The first is that because these sufferings and so on are seen as sufferings and so on by the noble ones, they are called noble truths, not by ordinary people, because ordinary people have inverted perceptions of suffering and so on. As it is said in the sutra: A thorn in the palm of the hand, people cannot recognize it, when it enters the eye, it is like causing discomfort and harm. An ordinary person like the palm of the hand cannot recognize the hair of the suffering of action. A noble person like the eye, he can very
