Karma is the karma of the upper realm. "Unspecified" is unrelated, because unspecified cannot become the karma of rebirth. Consciousness, if you acknowledge the Alaya consciousness, it is the Alaya consciousness itself; if you do not acknowledge it, it is the six consciousnesses that can grasp objects such as form. Form in name and form is the form aggregate in the state of congealing, etc., and name is the remaining four aggregates such as feeling. The meaning of "name" is to focus on things, and these also connect and focus on the next life, so it is name. The six sense bases, contact, and feeling have been explained before. Craving is the attachment of wanting to obtain happiness and wanting to abandon suffering. Craving itself increases greatly, and taking and abandoning objects of pleasure and pain is grasping. The karmic imprints of karma, having the ability to generate rebirth, is existence; from this, the six sense bases are newly produced in the womb, which is birth. The six sense bases themselves change to other states, which is aging; destruction is death. Fourth, the way the limbs are completed is divided into two types: the way of completion in three lifetimes, including incidental situations; and the way of completion in the moment of action completion. The first is: The Vaibhashika school believes that the twelve links of dependent origination are fully completed in the three lifetimes of the past, present, and future. Not only the Vaibhashika school, but also the Sutra school and the Realists hold the same view. Among them, ignorance and action are completed in the past life, because they are the cause of rebirth. Birth and old age and death are completed in the future life, because they are the result of the three of love, grasping, and existence in this life. The remaining eight branches in the middle are completed in this life, because the first five are the nature of Vipaka, and the latter two are its fruit. It is said like this: "There are two each in the past and future, In the middle, eight are fully equipped." The Vaibhashika school believes that there are four types of dependent origination: state-based, related, continuous, and momentary. The first is: the twelve branches are established based on the state of the aggregates in the three lifetimes. It itself...

It is interconnected and also a continuous dependent origination. The second is that, due to attachment, actions such as killing are the same, etc. At each moment, from ignorance to old age and death, the twelve links of dependent origination are completed, relying on the former to produce the latter. For example, what is the ignorance of killing? That is ignorance. Sanskrit Romanization: avidyā, Chinese literal meaning: ignorance) The mind is action. (Tibetan: འདུ་བྱེད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: संस्कार, Sanskrit Romanization: saṃskāra, Chinese literal meaning: action) Individually recognizing things is consciousness. Sanskrit Romanization: vijñāna, Chinese literal meaning: consciousness) The four aggregates that are together with it are name and form. Sanskrit Romanization: nāmarūpa, Chinese literal meaning: name and form) The six faculties that reside in name and form are the six entrances. Sanskrit Romanization: ṣaḍāyatana, Chinese literal meaning: six entrances) The gathering of the six entrances is contact. (Tibetan: རེག་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्पर्श, Sanskrit Romanization: sparśa, Chinese literal meaning: contact) Experiencing contact is feeling. (Tibetan: ཚོར་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वेदना, Sanskrit Romanization: vedanā, Chinese literal meaning: feeling) Attachment is craving. (Tibetan: སྲེད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: तृष्णा, Sanskrit Romanization: tṛṣṇā, Chinese literal meaning: craving) The corresponding complete entanglement is grasping. (Tibetan: ལེན་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: उपादान, Sanskrit Romanization: upādāna, Chinese literal meaning: grasping) The actions of body and speech that are completely aroused by this are existence. (Tibetan: སྲིད་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भव, Sanskrit Romanization: bhava, Chinese literal meaning: existence) The birth of that action is birth. (Tibetan: སྐྱེ་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: जाति, Sanskrit Romanization: jāti, Chinese literal meaning: birth) Complete maturation is old age. (Tibetan: རྒ་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: जरा, Sanskrit Romanization: jarā, Chinese literal meaning: old age) Decay is death. (Tibetan: ཤི་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: मरण, Sanskrit Romanization: maraṇa, Chinese literal meaning: death) Fifth, calculating the similarities of the ground of ignorance is: birth from the desire realm to the desire realm, birth from the upper realm to the desire realm, birth from the desire realm to the upper realm, and birth from the upper realm to the upper realm itself. If the twelve links of dependent origination of the four types of individuals are born from the desire realm and the upper realm to the desire realm, then all the links are on the same ground in the desire realm, because it is impossible to accumulate actions that are born in the desire realm in the upper realm. If one is born from the desire realm to the upper realm, the form realm or the formless realm, ignorance belongs to the lower desire realm, because that action was accumulated on the basis of the desire realm. The other links are the upper realm of where they will be born. For example, if one dies and transmigrates from the first dhyana of the upper realm and is born there, if the action is accumulated on the basis of that same support, then everything is the same as its own ground, but if it is born from accumulating actions that will be experienced in other lifetimes, then ignorance belongs to the lower ground, and the others belong to their own ground. This is just a rough explanation; if you examine it in detail, there are many things to say, but I have not written them because I am afraid of too many letters. What is the difference between realm and ground? In the three realms, such as the desire realm, the type of realm in which one is born is called that realm. Therefore, whatever increases the craving for the desire realm is called the desire realm, and whatever increases the craving for the form and formless realms is called that realm. The ground is the lower realm.
