Greed is abandoned by abandoning it in the manner of abandoning greed. Furthermore, at the time of nirvana, there will definitely be annihilation of the self. In the moments before nirvana, there is no agent of arising and ceasing, so there is no result. What is accumulated by others will be consumed by others. If the self is the nature of the aggregates, then when entering nirvana without any aggregates remaining, all five aggregates will be completely cut off, and the self will be annihilated. In that case, clinging to the extreme of annihilation would lead to holding extreme views. Because you hold onto the self as something that is subject to destruction, and you regard it as either permanent or annihilated, you are therefore established as holders of extreme views. In the moments before entering nirvana, just as the aggregates arise and cease in each moment, so too will the self arise and cease, because the self is of the nature of the aggregates. Therefore, the sutra says, "At that time, at that moment, I was born as a king named Lanu," which cannot be true, because at that time the self also perishes like the body, and here it is promised that another body will arise. The treatise also says, "Appropriation is not the self, it is arising and ceasing. How can appropriation be the nature of the self?" Similarly, "If the aggregates are the self, then they are subject to arising and ceasing." This is what is said. If the self is subject to arising and ceasing, then at the time of future birth, because the self that performed the actions in the past has disappeared and no longer exists, there is no basis for action, and therefore no action, and therefore no result of action. If the result of the action performed in the previous moment is enjoyed in the subsequent moments, then the ripening of the action accumulated by others will be enjoyed by others, and therefore the action accumulated by others will be consumed by others. Therefore, it will lead to actions done being wasted and encountering actions not done. As it is said in the treatise, "If this changes to another, then it will arise even without it. Likewise, the place will also change, and one will be born without dying. Annihilation and all actions will become fruitless, and actions done by others will be experienced separately by others, and other faults will occur."

So. Therefore, it is unreasonable to say that the aggregates are "I." If it is said that the earlier and later moments are different, but even so, because it is the same continuum, what is accumulated by one will not be consumed by another, if it is said that because it is the same continuum, there is no fault, then, the fault of the same continuum has already been stated. Because the earlier and later moments are one continuum, the fault has already been stated in "depending on Maitreya Near Hidden Dharma," so it is unreasonable. It is also said in the scriptures: "If gods and humans are different, then it is impermanent and changing. If gods and humans are different, the continuum is not reasonable." As it is said, it is unreasonable to attribute things that are different in nature to one continuum, so the fault cannot be avoided. Therefore, the aggregates and the mind are not "I." Therefore, it should be said that the aggregates are not "I," and the mind is not "I." Furthermore, because there is no "the world has an end," etc. Here, all schools acknowledge the fourteen unstated things, as follows: four kinds such as the world has an end and no end, four kinds such as the world is permanent and impermanent, four kinds such as the Tathagata exists and does not exist after death, and two kinds that depend on whether body and life are one or different, these fourteen things, because they are not necessarily to be clearly expressed, so the Bhagavan established them as unstated things. Among them, if the aggregates are held by the words "world" or "I," then the arising and ceasing of the aggregates themselves will lead to the declaration that the world is impermanent, and also, after Nirvana, the aggregates do not exist, which will lead to the declaration that the world has an end. Similarly, it will also be declared that the Tathagata does not exist after death. Therefore, because it is not admitted that "the world has an end," etc., it is unreasonable to say that the aggregates and the mind are "I." Furthermore, if the aggregates or the mind are "I," when your yoga sees no-self, then it will inevitably lead to the non-existence of all dharmas. According to your view, when a yogi sees the truth,
