Furthermore, the liberation of contemplating ugliness is: In order to be liberated from the obscurations of desire and non-desire arising from the transformation of what is repulsive and what is not repulsive, the yogi, relying on the fourth dhyana, destroys the perception of form in himself. Focusing on the three objects of what is repulsive, what is not repulsive, and what is in between, he cultivates the perception of their mutual dependence, the perception of their interconnectedness, and finally, he cultivates a single taste of revulsion, together with the samadhi and wisdom that correspond to it. The four formless liberations are: For the purpose of being liberated from the obscurations of experiencing the taste of each of their respective aims. Among them, the liberation of the sphere of infinite space is: During the preparatory stage, one cultivates the thought, "Space is infinite." During the actual stage, one cultivates the samadhi and wisdom that fully manifest clarity upon it, thereby liberating oneself from the obscurations of experiencing the taste of one's own meditative absorption. Similarly, one should understand accordingly the liberations of the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, and the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. The liberation of the cessation of perception and feeling is: In order to be liberated from the obscurations of the cessation of perception and feeling, it is the meditative absorption that, relying on the mind of the peak of existence, ceases all gross perception and feeling. The term "power" is extremely, it is said to be the nature of certainty. The ten powers that will be explained should be understood as having an extremely certain and definite nature, because of their extreme certainty, they are unimpeded. The fearlessness of protection is: The very essence of extreme stability. For example, when I vow that I have fully awakened to all dharmas, there is no one who argues that I have not awakened to this dharma, this is fearlessness regarding the dharma of realizing self-benefit. When I vow that I have exhausted all defilements, there is no one who argues that I have not exhausted this aspect of defilement, this is fearlessness regarding the dharma of abandoning self-benefit. When I teach the hearers that those dharmas are obstacles, even if they practice them, they will not become obstacles, there is no one who argues, this is fearlessness regarding teaching the dharma of obstacles for the benefit of others. When I teach the path that certainly liberates from suffering, even if they practice those paths, they will not certainly liberate from suffering.

That which is called without opponents is the guide who definitely brings about the benefit of others, which is fearlessness. Such fearlessness of the savior Buddha has the characteristic of being extremely stable, because no one can cause it to change. The four individual correct knowledges are: Eloquence and so on are characteristics of inexhaustibility. The four individual correct knowledges are: dharma, meaning, definitive words, and eloquence individual correct knowledge. These, in order, are the combination of samadhi and wisdom that allows unimpeded entry into the expressive words, the expressed meaning, the definitive words of individual objects, and the vast classifications of all dharmas. Because they possess these, eloquence is endless, therefore it is the characteristic of eloquence and so on being inexhaustible. To diligently obtain benefit for beings, is called great love. Great love is characterized by diligently obtaining the temporary and ultimate benefit for beings. To protect all those who suffer, is great compassion. Great compassion is characterized by the desire to protect all suffering sentient beings. Joy is the characteristic of extreme joy. Great joy is characterized by extreme joy focused on sentient beings who possess happiness. Equanimity is known to be the characteristic of non-mixture. Great equanimity is characterized by not being mixed with attachment, anger, and so on. The Buddha's dharmas are unmixed, whichever of the eighteen is desired. Why does the one who shows not steal them? Therefore, not stealing is the characteristic of its own nature. Among the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha, the six summarized by conduct are: no confusion in body, no idle talk in speech, no forgetting the meaning of sentient beings, no instability of mind, no different perceptions of acceptance and rejection in samsara and nirvana, and no equanimity of abandoning those to be tamed without individual examination. The six summarized by realization are: no loss of desire, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, wisdom, and liberation. The three summarized by activity are: all activities of the three doors are preceded by wisdom.
