Thus, it is said that all sentient beings, both internal and external, are born from karma, both common and uncommon. Karma also depends on the mind; only in conjunction with the mind can karma be accumulated, and without the mind, there is no karma to accumulate. Therefore, the cause of beings' wandering in samsara is primarily the mind, not form. For example, although there is form, it does not have the function of the mind. Although it is said that form exists like the mind, it does not have the function of being the agent of karma and other causes of samsara like the mind, because it is an inanimate object without the movement of thought. Because form has no meaning of an agent, therefore, an agent other than the mind, conversely, form is not prohibited. Some believe that the self and the chief, etc., are the agents, while others believe that the mind is the agent. No one believes that form is the agent. Therefore, it is seen that the chief, etc., should not be the agents, and that the mind has the power of an agent. As it is said, "Only mind," then the chief, etc., other than the mind, as agents, conversely, it is unreasonable to prohibit form. Just as when two kings争夺the ownership of the same territory, the victor wants to make the other a competitor, not the masses who need both. Here too, for the two who think that there is an agent other than the mind, form is also needed, so there is always no harm. Secondly, showing that the presence or absence of form and mind is the same: Thus, in the manner described above, abiding in the reality of worldly people. The aggregates, the five that are known in the world, are all present. When one wants to generate wisdom of that reality, the yogi will not generate those five. Abiding in the reality of the worldly people's view, then all five aggregates are present, because they are known in the world. For the yogi who wants to generate wisdom of emptiness of that reality, the five aggregates such as form will not arise, because all the characteristics of elaboration have been pacified. Why is it so, therefore, if there is no form, then do not cling to having mind. If there is mind, there is also no

Hold on! What is the reason for that? Because in name they are both the same, and in ultimate reality they are both non-existent. The scriptures also say that existence and non-existence are the same, like this: They become Buddhas through the principle of wisdom, equally abandoning, and are spoken of in the Dharma treasury. The aggregates such as form, in the Abhidharma Sutra, are all equally spoken of in terms of their own characteristics and common characteristics. In the Prajnaparamita Sutra, all five are equally abandoned and prohibited, as the Prajnaparamita Sutra says: Subhuti, form is empty by nature. Up to the point where consciousness is empty by nature. Therefore, even if these two truths, which are established by scripture and reason, are broken down, your substance cannot be established by negation. To say that there is only mind without form is to break down the order of the two truths, conventional and ultimate, as previously stated, even if you break it down, the Vijnanavada school cannot establish the substance of other-emptiness, because the substance of other-emptiness has already been negated by reason. Therefore, with such a sequence, things are originally, that nature is not born, the world should know to be born. For what reason is it so? Because of the sequence of reasoning as mentioned above, external and internal phenomena are originally unborn in ultimate reality, and should be known to arise in the conventional terms of the world. Third, explaining the intention of other sutras: If the sutras are of such intention, even so, the mind-only can be established from other sutras, as it is said: Whether external appearances exist or not, the mind appears in various forms, body, enjoyment, dwelling, etc., I say are only mind. Body refers to the senses such as the eyes. Enjoyment refers to objects such as form. Dwelling refers to the container world. Therefore, since there is no external existence other than the mind, the mind itself appears as body, enjoyment, and dwelling due to the influence of habits, and when it arises, it will be attached to the body, etc., which are different from consciousness. Therefore, if it is said that these three realms are only mind, there are three answers to this: showing that the sutra is a sutra with intention.
