I will be completely exhausted. Therefore, he can also always pacify the desires of worldly people. In the third ground, the illuminator, the Bodhisattva will generate the four concentrations, the four formless absorptions, the four immeasurables, and the five superknowledges. By realizing the nature of dependent arising as immutable and indestructible, greed, hatred, and delusion will be mostly completely exhausted. That Bodhisattva, due to the power of karmic maturation, takes birth as the lord of the gods, and he also constantly practices the means of pacifying the desires of worldly people, and is able to liberate beings from the place of desire. Now, in order to clarify the differences in the supports of the first three perfections, the nature of the accumulations, and the nature of complete accomplishment through power, it is explained as follows: These three dharmas, such as generosity, are mostly praised by the Sugatas for householders. The accumulation called merit is also their nature. The nature of the Buddha's form body is the cause of the form body. Although the support of the perfections is only the Bodhisattva, among the two categories of Bodhisattvas, householders and renunciants, these three dharmas of generosity, ethics, and patience are mostly praised by the Sugatas for Bodhisattva householders, because they easily practice these three dharmas. For renunciants, it is concentration and wisdom, but it is not that there are no others. The cause of the Buddha is the two accumulations of merit and wisdom. Among them, the nature of the accumulation called merit is those three dharmas, while concentration and wisdom are the accumulation of wisdom. Diligence is established as the cause of both. Whatever is the accumulation of merit is the nature of the Buddha's form body, which is the cause of the rare and inconceivable marks of a hundred merits. The accumulation of wisdom is the cause of the unborn nature of the Dharmakaya. The third is to show the conclusion by praising the qualities of the earth: The prince dwells in the sun, shining

Having first dispelled the darkness of my own continuum, I wish to dispel the darkness of sentient beings. This third ground, the Illuminating One, which is like the sphere of the sun, the son of the Victorious Ones, is such that having first dispelled the darkness of the unfavorable aspects of the ground that exists in one's own continuum, at the time when it is arising spontaneously, through the door of showing others as one has realized oneself in its light, one wishes to dispel the darkness that is an obstacle to the arising of the third ground in the continuum of sentient beings. Although sharp in this ground, one does not become angry. That Bodhisattva, in this ground, having destroyed the darkness of faults that are obstacles to qualities, although his intelligence becomes extremely sharp like the rays of the sun, he does not become angry with sinful beings, because he is extremely accustomed to patience, and because his continuum is moistened by compassion. The Introduction to the Middle Way says: The Illuminating One is the explanation of the third generation of mind. Explanation of the Fourth Chapter Now, the fourth generation of mind, named "Radiating Light," will be explained. This also has two parts: showing the nature of the ground through the excellence of diligence, and concluding with showing the meaning of the name of the ground. Considering the first: All qualities follow diligence, And merit and wisdom are the cause of both. Wherever diligence blazes, That fourth ground is called Radiating Light. All qualities of the world and beyond follow diligence, because from being delighted in virtuous actions, one obtains virtuous dharmas that have not been obtained, and those that have been obtained increase more and more, and become vast. Therefore, the cause of both the accumulation of merit and the accumulation of wisdom, that is, the accumulation of wisdom, is diligence itself. Thus, the diligence that has become the cause of all qualities, through the door of the complete purification of its own qualities, the ground in which it blazes and becomes superior is called the fourth ground, Radiating Light. The one who concludes through the door of showing the meaning of the name of the ground: There, for the Sugata's son, the complete Factors of enlightenment, born from superior meditation, Appear more than copper light, In that fourth ground, the son of the Sugata.
